The most wonderful and relaxing home away from home! Carol and Ron have provided a beautiful home with all the amenities you could hope to have. From the fully fitted out kitchen (including complimentary wine) to every toiletry you could think of - nothing is missing. Did I mention the Christmas tree???The backyard is a dream and they provide beach toys. So close to the beach and great places to eat and visit. A dream vacation.

This was our second time to stay at this property and it did not disappoint. Carol was very responsive and always helpful when needed. We had our 3 year old and 2 dogs with us and had everything we need and more to accommodate them. We're already looking forward to coming back again next year!

Wonderful, colorful home. Had everything we needed! Especially enjoyed the fenced backyard for our 2 small dogs and the great ocean breezes on the front porch. Very close to the water and lots of restaurants. Hosts were exceptional on communication!

Cozy cottage

Stayed to attend friends birthday party nearby for 3 nights. Hosts were great. Friendly and so accommodating. Everything you can possible need included other than your own food and drink. Great location other than on fairly busy street. Can walk to beach and several great nearby restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Base for Exploring Galveston

We enjoyed our few days exploring Galveston and the cottage was a great spot to come home to. As in the photos, the decor gives total beach vibes and the bed was very comfortable.We didn’t cook here, but the kitchen looked fully equipped and the bathroom also had everything you could need.Hosts were great and I would recommend this cottage for a stay in Galveston.

Restful Christmas Reset

Our stay over the Christmas holiday was just what we needed before starting a new year. The 1913 beach bungalow was a block away from the waterfront as well as a variety of restaurants. Our hosts thoughtful touches and supplies made sure we weren't lacking for anything. They even had a small Christmas tree set up for us! The fenced in yard let us relax outside under the shady patio cover with its comfortable chairs while knowing our dogs were safe. Very nice family memories were made. Will definitely tell others about this Galveston gem.sm all Christmas tree set up.

A beautiful Texas Thanksgiving!

We loved our stay at this quaint beach cottage! Perfect for our family and pup. The house is prepped for every single thing you could need- wow! A true home away from home. Even with a city electrical outage, they were on top of getting the power company out to fix right away with little interruption to our family gathering. Super grateful for the memories and can’t wait to be back!

Best GV Island house we’ve stayed at

Amazing house with a chef’s kitchen, impeccably stocked with supplies! It was so helpful to have two residential parking passes and a separate half bath!! This is going to be our go-to rental from now on.

Beautiful cottage close to the beach!

My family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! We enjoyed the morning walks on the beach to watch the sunrise and great conversation around the fire pit in the backyard! The house is perfect inside and the owners have thought of everything to make sure you have a great vacation! I would love to visit again.

Will definitely stay here again!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful- they answered my questions promptly before I even booked with them and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. It really is just as described. I read other reviews where guests stated that you could literally show up with your clothes and you would be set. That is the case- so many toiletries were provided that if you forgot something, it was almost certain to be there. So nice to have the Keurig and the coffee provided. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the backyard with the covered seating area and spent a lot of time there. If you love to cook, there is every kind of imaginable pot and tool that you could possibly need. Being able to walk just two blocks to the beach was amazing! My husband and I are already looking at our calendars to see when we can return. Thanks so much, Carol and Ron!

Perfect place to stay near the beach!

We loved the property, including the back yard for our dog. Easy walk to the beach! The house has everything you could possibly need for your stay, including an ample stock of kitchenware and dog supplies. Beautifully decorated, plenty of resources for places to go, including dog-friendly restaurants. Ron and Carol are just the nicest folks you'd want to do business with - they even left us flowers and a card for our anniversary!

Amazing beach vacation!

We loved our stay! The house was clean, bright and comfortable. We had above and beyond anything we could have needed for our 4 nights there. The owners were communicative and helpful, making sure that we had ideas for our two kids’ first trip to the beach. And it really is so close to the beach! We would stay here again in a second.
