Muy buena la calidad de la cena (exquisitas chuletillas de cordero con salsa de menta) y el desayuno, con unos huevos revueltos y un bacon infinitamente mejores de lo que se puede comer en cualquier hotel de cuatro estrellas. Por la tarde-noche se reúne la gente de la localidad a tomar unas cervezas y a cenar en lo que se convierte en un pub muy agradable de zona rural . "Es un hotel sencillo en Gales, tiene un restaurante - pub bueno, cuarto amplio y bien iluminado y un parqueadero comodo para el carro. No hay mucho que hacer alrededor si no tienes carro. Queda mas o menos a 1 km del pueblo, en la noche el camino es muy oscuro. En general una buena estadía, el personal mas preocupado por el pub que por el hotel, pero de resto bien."

"This is a fantsstic property. Plenty of communication before-hand. Music plays to welcome you (as it's a self-check in), the place is very clean and everything you need is included. It is a shame that no-one is there to provide breakfast & that you have a continental breakfast tray instead but we would certainly recommend The Highcliffe."

"Great location. Room was very compact. No room to swing a cat in the shower. Strange layout to bathroom, shower built on 3 half steps, could be a huge fall risk. Annoying green light from emergency lighting shining in the room all night. Breakfast was delightful, however i would prefer my toast to be served the same time as the eggs, not the same time as the cereal. Toast and crossiant cold by the time i came to eat them. "

"This was simply a great Hotel/Inn to stay at. Staff were super friendly and nice, beds comfy, breakfast delicious and if you're a history nerd, it's right next to the Roman walls. Would absolutely come here again."

"We booked for B&B and paid in advance for it. However on arrival we were told breakfast was not included. A little annoyed, but did not dwell on it, the staff were very friendly and told us to make contact with Hotel.com. ( not so easy) Hotel was clean, nice room and a good shower. Lovely bar area. Good location for touring the area. Breakfast was cooked very nice, albeit different to what we would normally expect. Served like a restaurant, had to pay for each item. ( what we had was very nice) ...
