I would highly recommend this house! We rented this house for a Senior Mom/Daughter trip. There were 4 daughters and 4 moms and this house couldn’t have been more perfect. The girls loved the bunk room and us adults all had our room and bathroom. The large dining room table was perfect for games and the living room was enough room for us all to relax. The decorating and different themed rooms was so neat. We loved the rustic feel. Pictures don’t do it justice. The garage with the games was a nice added touch. It was close to Galena to enjoy some shopping and dining too. We enjoyed looking at the book about the family making the home their own. The only negative was we wished we had more time there. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the family for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Very cutely decorated. Very comfortable couches and beds. The understairs playroom was a hit for the little ones and the game room was fun for the older ones. We really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool at the owners club. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The only issue we had was the carpet felt damp in areas of the basement and there were some ants in the kitchen. Otherwise it was clean and very accommodating for a family with young children. We would definitely stay there again.

Very pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils and dishes. Lots of space for everyone, enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and the big dining room table. Beautiful surroundings with trees and flowers. Kids really had fun in the game room.

Great family getaway

We booked Timber Ridge for an extended weekend. 6 adults and 4 kids had a great time in the house and in visiting Galena's sites. Kitchen was well stocked so we could cook family meals. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. Game room was a bonus! Highly recommended!

Great house for family of various ages

Our family had ages 19 months - 65 and we all found something to enjoy. The kids really liked the "hidden" room where they could "cook" for us. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, and we ALL enjoyed the LARGE table and the recliners. Thanks for sharing your home with us :)

Basswood Lane was an amazing stay! We visited Galena and stayed at this home, which absolutely met all of our needs. When it came to the cleanliness and all the amenities, the house has to offer. It was a perfect home for all of our families. Downtown is a 15 minute drive and close to a bunch of shops and eatery in town. Weather came to the hot tub, the movie theater room or the amazing dining room table. All we did was laugh and enjoy our time at this house. Such a cool spot. All of our kids loved it and we created some great memories this weekend thank you for letting us stay at your home and I 10 out of 10. Recommend this house. PS this was also one of the first houses that I have ever been to that legit had everything that you have at your own home. Pots pans, utensils, you name it this house had it. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great family vacation

This was our second year staying at this lovely home. There were eleven of us and we had plenty of room for all. We enjoyed the screen porch, large dining table, hot tub etc. We are looking forward to staying again next summer.

11 Basswood Property - Galena

Very clean comfortable and spacious property. Enjoyed the Galena area sites & restaurants. Great location with access to the General Golf/Convenience Store & the Highland Restaurant/Lounge. We will likely return in the summer/fall time frame!

Great Getaway

Our family of 8 adults and 4 kids, aged 7-11, had a wonderful weekend. It was too cold for outdoor activity but there was lots to keep everybody entertained in the roomy house and separate game room. We were gathering for a late Christmas celebration and were happy to see the Christmas tree and decorations around the house. We contacted the service for early check-in, and again with a problem with the game room door lock, and our concerns were handled quickly and courteously. We would consider using this house again and recommend it to others.

Amazing Location

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Kitchen is small but workable. The bed mattress needs to be replaced. The heating in upstair room is less but manageable. No shampoo/body wash in bathrooms..

Love Timber Ridge

This is the 5th year our family stayed at Timber Ridge to celebrate Christmas and we’ll keep coming back. The game room and Sapling room are great for keeping kids entertained. The home is secluded behind trees and has beautiful surroundings. The dining room and table is large enough for everyone. The beds are the most comfortable of any rental we’ve stayed at. Our family loves this house.

Sooooooo PERFECT!!!

Our extended family of 11 (4 - 69) LOVED our long weekend together at Timber Ridge!!! The 5 kids had fun with ALL the special spots…the Secret Store, the Game Room, the Movie Theater, the Fire Pit and the Hot Tub!!! Lots of spaces for the adults to relax in as well. We were enchanted by the history of the home and all the little touches that went into creating such a unique getaway haven. We were all sad when it was time to ring the bell and say good-bye…..but we’ll be back for sure!!!

Great place for a family vacation!

We had 12 family members staying at this lovely home! It was large enough to accommodate all of us. There was so much to see in this thoughtful 6 bedroom home. I especially liked the theater room and the screen porch! We will be going back soon I hope.
