Our stay was with our teenage son and 5 of his buddies celebrating his 17th birthday. We were really pleased with the home and it was perfect for the occasion. Game room was fun but most the time they spent at the house was in the hottub and around the fire. We appreciated the master bedroom being located upstairs and them being downstairs lol. We do think a light could come in handy on top deck. Also struggled a bit with how dark the side of the house was starting fires/ roasting hotdogs in the dark. A light on that side would have come in handy too. But we could have also brought a flashlight and would next time . The bedding and bath towels were very nice which is something i always appreciate! Host also stocks paper towels, foil & saran wrap, dish soaps and detergent. So nice not having to pack all that! Its also so nice having access to all the amenities within the Territories. Over all the house was very clean and would definitely stay again!

Spring Break

My husband, kids (ages 12 and 9), and parents stayed here for a few nights over our Spring Break. Had a relaxing time in your home. Enjoyed the game room as well as watching the turkeys and deer out the windows! Pictures are accurate and home is clean. Stayed here last year and will stay again!

A relaxing weekend

The property was a hidden gem. Clean and well kept. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of golf. The fire pit and seating is so nice and welcoming. Neighbors are close, but you can't even tell. Love this property.

Great Fall Trip

Property was perfect! It was exactly as listed. We had all the comforts of home. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family. The game room, hot tub, and fire pit provided hours of entertainment, and the proximity to Galena was nice. Excellent communication with the host!! Would love to stay here again!

Great Home

This house was so well appointed and nicely decorated. We drove into Galena (about 5 miles) one day but mostly stayed in the house. Nice outdoor furniture and a great fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful and well-designed space

We had a great time at this giant, well appointed home. The decor suited our tastes and the beds were fantastic. Guidelines and instructions were clear and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted, all clean and in good working order. We relaxed, we cooked, and we ate and drank until we were stuffed. The perks of the game machine and football table were appreciated by the younger crowd, as was the woodland setting by the older folk. Overall, we loved this place and hope to come back soon.

Galena get away

Stayed here for the second time since we liked it so much, access to the club is a major selling point with access to 3 pools, a gym and basketball court. One negative is the fire pit. Great pit but the wood is usually a little wet since it is stored outside and doesn't dry as fast as you would like. We brought our own bundle this time so we could get a fire started.

Friends Retreat

This house had all the things. I rented this house for 6 women for our yearly friends retreat, in Galena. First, the house was very clean with crisp white linens and towels, even the ceiling fans were relatively dust free! The house had a transitional style decor which is not the usual in the Galena area. The several gathering areas were spacious yet cozy, enough living room, dining room, patio chairs, hot tub space, bathrooms, and sleeping space for everyone. This area of Galena is on the south side of the territories which happens to be my preferred side as it is a little quieter and more spaced out. There was a trail head directly off the back yard! The house even had a map of the trails which was super helpful. A lot of small touches that made the house feel homey. The only thing that was a tad confusing is that the property manager utilizes their own web app and email system for communication instead of the VRBO platform. Regardless, the information in the managements app was very detailed. We will be booking this for next year as soon as we get our dates set.

Great choice for VRBO

Beautiful inside and out. 8 adults had plenty of room. Game room is a blast! We had Foosball tournaments. Played their games and our own board games both in cool loft game room, kitchen table and out on deck. Again plenty of room for 8. Cards cards cards too! So many laughs. Bonfires, smores made at firepit. More than enough room due to 5 chairs and rocks cleverly laid for optimal seating. Day trip to downtown but spent most of our time making memories at the house. We would definately go back!

Was one of the best stays in the Territory

We have stayed at least 10 different houses in Galena Territory and this was our most favorite. We had 2 of our older kids, 20 & 23 and then our 20 month old and 5 year old and my folks too. It was perfect! The fire pit was lovely and looked really new, and the hot tub was nice too the boys loved it. It was really setup well with all 3 bedrooms having their own full bathroom. The game room upstairs was super fun too, I can't remember the last time I played Pac Man :-) thank you for a lovely time.

High Ridge in Galena

Property was great, access to the club is a plus, close to Galena and restaurants and there is a BBQ grill and hot tub, all excellent. Only downside is the fire wood supplied for the fire pit. Like little trees and no kindling to start any kind of fire. We had to go buy firewood, not expected.

Great getaway for families and couples.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Lots of space, comfy beds and couches, great game loft, and large hot tub. Easy to get to many activities in the Galena territory. Owners were clear with instructions for arrival and departure.

Girlfriend Getaway

The five of us thoroughly enjoyed two nights at this rental. There were enough beds and baths to accommodate us and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The woods behind the house made for a serene backdrop for enjoying time on the deck and in the hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying at this home!

We brought our boys to Galena for a quick trip over Spring Break. Every part of the house was perfect for our needs; game room, hot tub, beds in rooms, access to pools, etc. We will absolutely be staying at this house again!

Spring break family getaway

Our group before adults and four kids ages 3-7 really enjoyed this property. This is year two of a new tradition, a spring break trip to somewhere close to home with a hot tub and activities for kids and adults. The house was perfect, clean, modern. We took advantage of the Galena territory owners club, which the kids loved. The hills and countryside around the property are breathtaking. We enjoyed checking out the shops in Galena, and had dinner at Dirty Hurts one night, and Cajun Jacks another. Highly recommend both! We didn't require any correspondence with the property host. The hospitality app for managing our stay is a little glitchy. The chlorine in the hot tub was a little too strong. Overall, however, a perfect stay! Thank you!

Beautiful but lacked communication

As VRBO property owners we were very disappointed in the lack of communication . We rent our property 250 nights per year and we check in with our guests and communicate with them from reservation to departure. We answer text and phone calls within an hour and we are 6 hours away from our property. We asked several questions via email and never received responses. The home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
