Our family had a wonderful time at this home during the holiday season. There is ample room for a group to socialize and eat together. The dining room table seats eight comfortably and there is additional dining space in the family room. The outdoor areas were large and relaxing with nice chaise lounge chairs and a firepit for cool nights. The hosts were very responsive and handled minor issues that occurred during our stay in a timely manner. The home is large enough for family members to have privacy and personal space. The fireplace is beautiful.

We had 4 couples rent the house for a birthday celebration, reunion and football weekend. Everything was great. Our host had great communication before and during our stay. the house was what we expected it to be based on the description. No issues whatsoever. We would rent again if we had the opportunity to.

It's dated and dingy in comparison to the photos. It is a convenient location for campus and grocery. The water pressure is excellent and the pool is nice. We prefer a newer property or hotel next time in Gainesville.

Great stay at the Oasis

We had an extended stay at the Oasis and the place took good care of us. Weather it was 40 degrees at night or close to 9o at the end of the day we were in comfort. The home is spacious with an open plan and close to everything. You could not ask for a more centrally located home in Gainesville Florida. Directly across the street from Loblolly Park for long nature hikes and only 20 minutes of walking to the campus stadium. Maybe 30 minutes walking to Butler Plaza. It was great for getting steps in. There is a roomy kitchen and game room as well and a well appointed pool and pool area. Next time we want to be there in summer to use the pool as it was a chilly spring weather wise. also wanted to mention the internet speed was great for work meetings and streaming. Thanks Oasis, Jarred & Lisa for taking care of us.

Cozy get away!

HerMy stay was fantastic! The cozy home was perfectly located, close to everything I needed. It was thoughtfully equipped with all the right amenities, making it feel just like home. The host was incredibly responsive and genuinely caring, ensuring a comfortable and seamless experience. Recommend if staying in Gainsville!

Beautiful home, perfect for a family!

The Oasis was absolutely perfect. So great for a family and my teens were content staying in the entire time we were in Gainesville! The pool was lovely and the yard space was excellent. We had a bonfire and found wood for sale only a block away at Publix where we could also stock up on groceries. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and property

We enjoyed the pool and grill and spacious backyard. You can't ask for a better location which is close to Publix and UF. When we're back in Gainsville, we'll be staying here again!

Very nice home with Fantastic pool!

The property was exactly as advertised. We arrived to a very clean, ordered home. The main feature is the pool and it was fantastic. The neighbors tall trees shade the pool in late afternoon which is an added bonus during the heat of the day. Just be aware that the home is next to a busy street. Honestly, it didn’t bother me at all and the primary bedroom sits in the back and isn’t bothered by any noise that I noticed during the night. The positive is that you are walking distance or very short drive to Publix and a number of good restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and as we will need to be back in the area in the future, we will stay here again.

Home Away from Home

My stay at The Oasis was very pleasant. It was our home away from home. It looked just like the pictures. The house was warm and inviting. It was clean and just what my family needed while staying in Gainesville.

Good Time in GVille

Was a good home base for a couple days over the 4th. Only issues were minor. Beds not the most comfortable, grill was charcoal not gas. Pool was huge, fire place was great for Smores. Very close to some nice walking trails and a city park. Would suggest to anyone visiting the area. Less than 6 mins to campus as well.

Oasis

Very nice place to stay! We loved the pool in the backyard, it was so relaxing. The manager was very thorough and checked in with us to make sure there were no issues we needed him to address. We would definetely stay there again!

Perfect location for UF related trips and celebrations

Our group included aunts and uncles, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, and a few friends stopped by for a barbecue in the backyard. Perfect place to celebrate a celebrate a special occasion close to campus. Communication with the host was especially good - he helped us out and made the stay special. Highly recommended.

Gal’s Weekend

My group of 4 women were looking for a spa like location for a gals weekend and this home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to prepare gourmet meals and eat Al fresco outdoorsy then enjoy an evening of beer, wine and laughter. We enjoyed our days between poolside and game playing. Locally we were able to appreciate the Butterfly exhibit and the convenience of shopping.
