We enjoyed our stay. Place was nice and clean with beautiful views to the lake. Our only issue was that the door to the host's home leads right into the place and locks on their side, so technically they can come into the rental space anytime they want. Otherwise, we had a great time!

So quiet and peaceful

I cannot express how wonderful Lane and Kim were, they truly made the stay beyond all expectations. The house and grounds are so welcoming, clean, fully stocked and even special treats. We hung at the dock and kayaked the entire week, so peaceful !and relacing

Lovely lake getaway

Woodland waters is a beautiful property. The pool and hot tub were perfect! The beds were so comfy and the kitchen was clean and well stocked. Bathrooms are updated and the hosts Kim and Lane left all the items needed to make everyone feel at home. Our teenager enjoyed the games and TV’s in almost every room! Path down to lake is a bit steep with no railings but we managed. Lake Lanier is just gorgeous. We hope to visit again!

Great little weekend

Very clean and well stocked private area on terrace level of owners home. Owners are on site as described in listing and are very nice and welcoming. They meet you upon arrival and give you a walk through- even helped went above and beyond to help us carry a few things in. The area was beautifully decorated. Beds are soft and adjustable. Showers have high end finishings/ shower heads. We had access to lake toys including a double kayak and paddles on a very nice section of the lake. Very nice dock with upper level lounging area/ eating area is a great place to enjoy views of the lake.very nice.

Relaxation

This stay was my first inside the states, I've used Vrbo in Aruba, Canada and Colombia. This one has outdone itself. Everything was taken into account. The space was clean, modern and inviting. It comfortable fit 4 adults and could have fit 2 more. Our hosts were made to process very smooth. Although, they lived on the property we hardly knew they were around. The pool, hot tub, decks (outdoor and lake front), cornhole game, fire pit were welcomed for a long relaxing weekend. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a great time. The layout of the terrace level we stayed in was perfect and had everything we needed. We kayaked, played in the pool, really enjoyed the Hot Tub and the host were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Too many people!

Beautiful property. We feel a bit over instructed on most every aspect of our stay. Dozens of signs with instructions on what not to do. We were the 5th vehicle in the driveway on what we hoped was a private place to relax. Four cameras around the pool and hot tub. Lots of footsteps heard from the residence above. Helicopter hosts, who meant well. I should have backed away when I had to ask twice how many people would be on this property. I never really got a straight answer. We just never felt relaxed. I’ll never assume again that these properties are ADA compliant.

Really great weekend away!

Our family stayed at Woodland Waters for fall break. A quick drive from Atlanta, it is a really great location with food, shopping, and grocery stores nearby. Kim and Lane greeted us upon arrival and Lane showed us around. Kim kept in touch in case we needed anything. The apartment was amazing! Everything was basically new and pretty. Kim and Lane really thought of everything that we could possibly need and made it such an easy stay. If you're up early enough during your stay, be sure to catch the sunrise over the lake from their boat dock. It is breathtaking!

Relaxing weekend getaway

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend away and this was perfect! The property had everything we could want: pool, hot tub, lake, enclosed patio with games, and a full kitchen with outdoor grill where we enjoyed all of our meals. Kim and Lane went above and beyond to make the weekend smooth and enjoyable. We are already planning our next stay!

Beautiful home in a superb location & great hosts

Kim and Lane were more than kind and accommodating. The space is well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful property located near several grocery options and a short drive to Gainesville restaurants. Would 100% stay here again. Be sure to rent a boat from one of the many rental facilities and explore the lake!

Great stay by Lake Lanier!

My husband and I booked a weekend here for some overdue relaxation, and it was just what we had hoped it to be. The amenities were great, the space was beautiful, and Kim and Lane were very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. To have access to a pool, a hot tub, the lake, and a beautiful sunset each day was truly a lovely experience.

Excellent Lake Lanier Vacation!

Location and property were excellent! So pretty and terrace level guest house was so beautifully decorated. Hosts went out of their way and provided snacks and even frozen pizza for a first dinner. They even had extra toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash in the bathrooms. They provided kayaks to use with life vests. It seemed more like a bed and breakfast type stay as the owners were living on the property while you were there.

Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for our group of four (2 couples). It had beautiful indoor and outdoor space for relaxing and dining. We also enjoyed the large pool and the ability to dock our boat. This property has everything. It's well stocked and did not lack anything we may have needed. Kim and Lane were super responsive and helpful with all our needs.

Amazing terrace apartment on the Lake

We had stayed at this apartment several years ago and we were very much looking forward to another visit. It is a lovely terrace apartment with comfort and amenities to please everyone. We enjoy the party dock and meals on the patio. The screened porch is a great spot to relax while reading a great book. The kitchen is well stocked and provides a gathering place to prepare simple meals. There is a swimming pool, spa tub, fireplace pit, kayaks, and an outdoor space to swing or play games. The apartment is impeccably clean. Kim and Lane are attentive hosts. They have created a relaxing oasis by the lake.

Awesome Place!

Such a great rental! They have everything you can think of. It was super clean and organized. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful with any questions we had. It was nice to be able to relax in the hot tub and walk down to the lake and unwind. We will be going back in the summer when it’s warmer!!

Weekend stay for a fishing tournament

This is a beautiful property and the owners provide wonderful amenities and lots of extra touches. The owners go above and beyond for you as their guest by providing everything you need including letting you charge your boat.
