Close to UF and dog friendly

Beautifully decorated and well appointed. We were able to drive back and forth to UF easily and were happy to find a place we could yake oir dog.

A great getaway

Everything about this place was just as it was advertised very clean comfortable beds we spent five nights there enjoyed every one of them my next trip to Gainesville. I will be looking forward to coming back to this house just can’t say enough about it

Artistically decorated and a well stocked.

We were visiting Gainesville for 3 days. The condo was a beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and rooms were well stocked for most anything you would need. The owner was easy to communicate with.

Nice place, but disappointing

First of all, the interior of the home. Check-in was smooth, but I can't review much more since we arrived after 9 p.m. and left the next morning at 6:30 a.m. and were charged over $500 to sleep for 8 hours. We didn't get to see the neighborhood because it was dark when we arrived and dark when we left. I explained to the host that my 15-year-old foster daughter and I needed a place to stay for one night that had two separate bedrooms for the last minute softball tournament she was playing in. I told the host that we couldn't find a hotel near that would work and hoped that maybe since we were only going to stay for a few hours to sleep, maybe we could get a deal. $500 for 8 hours was a lot. Here's where the "but disappointing" part of the title comes into play. This is the exact response I received: "I’m sorry, I know and agree, that price is not typical, it’s because Gainesville is high in demand this weekend for events so that is what determines pricing for hotels, rentals, etc." I believe this is describing price gouging, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, my foster daughter had a great two days playing softball!

Football Weekend

This property has everything you need for a great weekend. Plenty of space, nicely decorated and clean. The backyard with fire pit is great, it was a little too warm in August for us to use it.

Updated and Convenient Home

The home was great! Quiet neighborhood and the house was clean and comfortable. The back yard was great for our pups as well. We came for a visit to the UFL Veterinary Hospital and the home was very conveniently located to this and many other shopping, dining areas. The host was great and responded very quickly. I would definitely recommend this home!

Home Away From Home

This property is absolute perfection. The host has literally thought of every detail. You feel like you just stepped into a home on HGTV! The beds were very comfy, towels fluffy, everything extremely clean and smelled wonderful! The host was incredible with communication too! We will definitely be back!

Very happy with our stay.

Came to Gainesville for my daughter in laws Graduation. Very short drive to campus. The property was exactly as shown in the pics. It was clean, comfortable and decorated with the guests in mind. It had everything that we needed. Beds were comfy and the backyard space was private and a nice place to sit and hang out with the family. Perfect for my dog to run around. Kate was very quick to respond to any questions. We were very happy with our stay.

Baseball weekend

My wife, daughter and dogs came down for the last 2 games of the Columbia baseball series and had a fantastic time. The property itself is fantastic, as the owner’s interior design background is readily apparent. Everything is beautifully presented and clean, and we appreciate it being pup friendly with a little backyard for them. The owner herself was fantastic in accommodating our stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the neighborhood is, what’s the fancy word, transitional. So convenient to the stadium and all things Gainesville, just worth being aware of. Thank you Kate for the great stay!

Just like home!

My mother and I stayed here for the week while we took my dog to UF for a surgery. The house was beautiful and super clean! It smelled amazing and it immediately felt like home! Kate is AMAZING and her communication was top notch! She immediately responded to any question I had and I was so thankful for that! The house was super cozy and had everything we needed! We loved the house and the owner so much that I will definitely plan to be using Kate’s amazingly cute home if we return to Gainesville! Thank you so much!
