Beautiful Lake House on Cowpen Lake w/Private Fishing Pond Boat Rental Available

  • Come enjoy our wonderful home on a beautiful, private 600 acre lake. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath lake house is a perfect family or friend getaway. The house is located on Cowpen Lake in Hawthorne, FL located 30 minutes from University of Florida. House is on 2 very private acres with plenty of parking. Cowpen Lake is a spring fed, clear lake great for boating and fishing. Bass, bream, gar, crappie and catfish can all be caught from the dock. Our property also has a 4 acre small fishing pond that is perfect for kids. Boats can be launched from shore with ease. Pet friendly. The property is completely fenced in. There is a 2018 Harris Pontoon Boat available to be rented during your stay. Ready and in the water with a full tank of gas to enjoy the lake!!

    Master Bedroom - Queen Bed with own master bathroom
    Upstairs Room 1 - 2 Single Beds (Jack and Jill Full Bathroom)
    Upstairs Room 2 - 2 Single Beds (Jack and Jill Full Bathroom)
    Extra Full Sized Bathroom downstairs off the living room area as well.
    Optional Room 4 - The Master Bedroom is connected to an Office where there is an EZ Bed pop up Queen Air Mattress that can be utilized for extra sleeping.
    There are a couple of couches that are comfortable to sleep on as well.
    House sleeps 6 comfortably, but can sleep up to 10.

3rd Annual Lake trip

We always love our stay here on the lake. Lots of good fishing, swimming and relaxing. Perfect for all ages from our toddler to our elderly parents. Never a single complaint

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time for our weekend get away here! The cabin is great and the kitchen is stocked very well. We caught a couple of fish and our dogs loved walking the property. Jackie is amazing and was super helpful!

We have always loved this rental property and look forward to it each year. The water is perfect for swimming, they have small paddle boats and kayaks available that everyone loves and the house is perfect. Lots of space and very welcoming. All around wonderful

So relaxing and peaceful

Fun Family Time

We had such a great time at the lake. Everything was perfect. The hosts are so easy to deal with. We also rented the pontoon boat… such a cool way to see the whole lake. Can’t wait to stay again and see all the updates that are in progress

Absolutely stunning lake property. Jackie was so kind and accommodating. The check in and out process was incredibly easy, and the property was in close range to the University of Florida. We absolutely love this beautiful lake property. Something for everyone! Great water play, plenty of dock space, and the home is so accommodating for our family. Great hosts that we’re readily accessible and great to work with. We definitely are frequent renters
