"The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. "We had a wonderful time at Lodge at the pines property! House was clean and cozy. Kitchen was stocked with spices and had everything we needed. Special touches from the owner made it perfection like a pastry on table when we arrived. Deck by the creek was especially great! Lovely view of Pine Creek. We even saw a deer drinking the first evening. Location was great. Within minutes of shops and Galeton if we needed something from the grocery store. Looking forward to coming back! "

"This house is nestled away on a quiet street. The home is beautiful and comfortable, we felt very safe here. The water/shower did have a sulfur smell which I learned is normal for homes like this, and wasn’t a huge deal. We had a great time on our first visit to the PA Grand Canyon and Cherry Springs State Park. We are already talking about coming back! "

"Had a wonderful trip here! The location of the cabin is great, the property is great. We saw beaver, deer, rabbits, bald eagles, red and gray squirrels and on a scenic ride we took nearby we saw a black bear. It rained a few days of our stay so we were able to enjoy games inside. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is nicely stocked and for a longer stay there is a in unit washer and dryer available. It was our 4th time staying in this cabin and definitely will not be our last....

"The house was a thoughtfully decorated and comfortable space. It was close to the PA Grand Canyon and sort of close to Cherry Springs. You can see the stars from the backyard when the moon is right. It’s close to the main road so keep in mind that you’ll hear the road when you’re outside. It’s perfectly quiet inside though. We would stay here again."
