The place is amazing, the view is breathtaking and the spa is great extra. The only thing i would change are the beds, mattresses are very firm and pillows very thin. I’d like to say it’s a matter of preference however 6 out of 6 in our group had the same comment. Everything else was perdect! We had an amazing boat day organised by the host with transpost to the port and it was super fun and so béautiful. Even the restaurant upstairs is wonderful and the is delicious.

Gorgeous Home in Amalfi coast

Amazing amazing place that fit many needs. The actual place is more beautiful than the pictures. Traveled with three older people that didn’t walk well, so it was hard to find a home big enough for all of us that was one level for the elders. There was one staircase of 10 steps or so that went down. Three spacious bedrooms for my husband and I, my mother, and my in laws. My kids slept on couch and pull out couch. Was a 20 minute ride to Amalfi. We rented a van for a month tour of Italy. Driving/parking is a challenge but doable . If you have a car and want to park in amalfi beach, arrive before 9:00 because if not it will be mobbed with boat tours, and you’ll have to turn around. If you want to got to the fjord di furore, don’t go on a weekend. Lesson learned! We couldn’t fit our van and had to turn around. Catalina was extremely helpful throughout the week. We used her father multiple times to take us to Almafi to avoid driving/parking. Dined in their amazing restaurant one night. Delicious! And again super convenient for the older people. Did a private day tour of the coast with Fjord Charter….dont pass this up! Very reasonable and they are super accommodating to all the age ranges of my group. I hope to return to this amazing place! Was hard to leave that once in a lifetime view!

Beautiful and relaxing

What a beautiful location. We loved our stay. Convenient to Amalfi, Ravello, Marina de Praia, and Positano, this location offers privacy and quiet. Clean and ready for guests, the apartment is perfect. We loved the jacuzzi at night. Didn’t hurt that the restaurant - owned and operated by the family is amazing!

Amazing! The Hosts-friendly, accommodating, available and just down right awesome! The restaurant-Melchio' was authentic yet new and refreshing! We took the cooking class with our adult kids and we made so much amazing food! and Chef Vito is fun and also gave us great tips. Overall the property is as advertised and staying here made our trip very memorable! Thanks for hosting! and, YES Chef!!

Beautiful Amalfi Coast Apartment

Amazing views from the deck! Hot tub was excellent and clean. There were a few ants in kitchen and some faint smoke smells but nothing bothered us. You will probably need a car but if you drive you need nerves of Steele ! It was nice that the family lived above and next-door if you need anything. The hosts father helped us with car stuff/parking. We also joined the cooking class-which was a lot of fun! and there is Melchiò’s restaurant right there with amazing food and views!

Gorgeous property & wonderful hospitality

My girlfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The property is very spacious, clean and has magnificent views of the coast. The host is EXTREMELY accommodating and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at their family’s restaurant Melchio, which is confidently located upstairs. If you are planning on leaving the property you will need a vehicle (they have parking), ride the bus (nearest bus stop is a 15 minute uphill walk) or arrange rides which can be expensive. The nearest supermarket is also about an 15 minute walk uphill, but our host graciously provided us with a ride after our arrival. Overall we loved the property and hospitality we were shown during our stay. I highly recommend this property and would love to come back again on a future trip.

Beautiful views and comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was very clean, and Vito and Caterina were very welcoming. They communicated everything clearly, and Vito gave us an excellent tour of the apartment and showed us how everything worked. They also had some water, beer, and soda in the fridge for us, which was nice to have right when you check in. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, spices, olive oil, etc, and Vito gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants we could eat at. The hot tub was nice, there’s a great market close by, and it’s a great location to explore the Amalfi Coast from

Great apartment, stunning view!

We loved our stay in this apartment! We had a car and it was a beautiful drive. The last part got a tiny bit complicated but we called the owner and they helped get us the rest of the way. I would suggest booking the restaurant in advance to make sure they will be open and aren’t fully booked. They were booked during our stay BUT they offered to let us order from the menu and bring it to the apartment for our entire family. It was an AWESOME meal and one of our favorite memories around the table together. The hot tub overlooking the view at night cannot be described. We would absolutely come again!

The house was great, but the patio was fantastic. Everything was pretty clean with the exception of a few ants in the kitchen and a couch that could use a deep cleaning. All minor issues. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Experience!

Cristina and her family were exceptionally gracious hosts. Her father drove us to Amalfi and Positano. The apartment was spacious, clean and well appointed. The view from the balcony was amazing and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day with a limoncello. We dined at their restaurant Melchio, the food was absolutely delicious! Definitely a place to come back to in the future!!

Complete disappointment

Had received no communication from Host leading up to our stay. So sent a message via Stayz to request check- in details. Still no response so I phoned the host directly. Caterina, the host answered but said she needed to call me back in 20 mins. Its now about 3 hrs to check-in. Host didnt call back and wouldn't answer my calls. Then I receive a cancellation through the Stayz app with no explanation. Shock and horror as my family ( including my 89 yr old mother- in- law) now have no where to stay as we arrive in a foreign country. I messaged via Stayz trying to get some kind of explanation. Host was completely unconcerned about the situation she had left my family in . She claimed she had an environment problem yet provided no details nor apology. We had to pay a higher price to find replacement accommodation to suit 4 adults and We still have not received a refund. I highly suspect the host double- booked the accommodation on another platform.

Beautiful overall

The home is beautiful with stunning views and a tasty restaurant upstairs called Melchio’s run by owners. Having a car is a must for us to be able to navigate the area as buses were quite far from the home. We enjoyed meals on the gorgeous veranda and soaked in the warm jacuzzi at night. Parking is tight and driving is tighter anywhere on the coast! It’s 30-45 min drive to Amalfi or Positano and very little parking options. Graciously, Caterina arranged for her father to drop us off at Amalfi ferry to see Capri. We appreciated the 2 beautiful bathrooms and use of washing machine and the outdoor drying line. The kitchen was well stocked but I highly suggest bringing toiletries and groceries before arriving as Markets are few and far between. However, we managed to make some delicious meals while we were there and spent most of our time outside enjoying the view. My main concern was lack of communication. Our Communication was intermittent and we had to use texting only on what’s app. It took weeks to get any type of response to my questions prior to arriving despite my attempts of emailing, texting and What’s app. Overall we still recommend the home and its beautiful views.

Stunning Property

This is certainly a stunning property. It is everything (and more) that the pictures show. The view from the terrace was so perfect! Caterina and Vito were excellent. The restaurant, Melchio, was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant and this VRBO property.

Wonderful place - stunning views

If you want to explore the Amalfi coast this is the place to stay. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable for two to three couples. It is also centrally located on the coastline, so if you have a car it’s a perfect home base for exploring such places as Positano, Amalfi, Capri (by ferry from Sorrento) and even Pompeii and Herculaneum. We did all these and more, and had a blast. Vitto, Caterina and their family were wonderful and accommodating hosts, and helped with finding parking for our two cars and giving instructions for getting to and fro. Their restaurant, Melchio’s, is two steps from the front door and offered delightful and delicious authentic Campania fare when we did not feel like cooking ourselves. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Caterina and Vito were the perfect hosts! The Villa was immaculate, spacious, comfortable, well equipped. The view looking directly out onto the sea was breathtaking! Exactly as the pictures describe! Watching the donkey, goats, chickens from our veranda onto the property below us was very entertaining each morning! And then relaxing in the hot tub with limoncello under the stars at night was indescribable! We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at their restaurant conveniently located right next door! (And when we realized we didn’t have milk for coffee in the morning, they sent us home with a bottle from the restaurant.) Caterina introduced us to Gianni (Amalfi Coast Dream Tours) who spent an entire day driving us around the Amalfi Coast. He arranged a personal tour at Pompeii for us and made a reservation at a spectacular restaurant in Positano! The hospitality, kindness, stories that he shared were priceless. I can’t say enough about the people we met thru Caterina and Vito (including Papa who on a moments notice drove us up the hill to the market!) Arrivederci for now, Caterina… we will most definitely see you again! Grazie and stay well!

Amazing hosts!

You won't want to leave this balcony! The view is breathtaking and to enjoy from a hot tub with a glass of wine....perfection! Vito and Caterina are very warm and welcoming and do anything they can to help make your stay amazing. We also did their cooking class and it was fantastic!

Fantastic Experience

We stayed at this villa with a great view. Villa was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was present. The best part was being right next door to Machio restaurant. Caterina and Vito who own and manage the property were very helpful. We did a cooking class with Master Chef Vito who is the owner and chef of the restaurant and it was an excellent experience. we ate Machio three times during our stay and the dining experience was outstanding. Caterina and Vito will take care of all of your needs and know the Amalfi area very well.

Beautiful views

The house is looking at the beautiful Amalfi coast in a village setting, right next to a restaurant ran by the property manager. Grocery store is a short walk down the street with most basics available. The host offered cooking and pizza classes…etc, very kind and attentive with prompt communication. Minor issues got fixed in no time. Unfortunately part of the village, including the house has temporarily no access to the coastal road as SS366 is closed shorty below the house. We could still walk down the stairs to Fiordo di Furore and drove around (through the mountain) to get to Sorrento and Positano. The path of Gods trailhead is 15 minutes from the house. A kitty kept visiting us every day and a donkey leisurely walked through the olive trees below.
