Marias Place by Atlantic Holiday

Maria's Place by Atlantic Holiday is a welcoming house in Funchal’s historic Old Town, offering a central base for discovering Madeira’s capital on foot. Close to the seafront, Barreirinha, restaurants, bars and Forte de São Tiago, the house enjoys views over the sea, harbour, passing ships and the fort.



The property accommodates 3 guests, with one bedroom featuring a queen-size bed and a sofa bed in the living room for one additional guest. There is one bathroom with a shower, and bed linen and bath towels are provided.



The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals, with a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, hob, cutlery, plates and cooking utensils. Guests also have access to a washing machine, hairdryer and Smart TV with TV box. A baby cot and high chair are available. Enjoy added comfort throughout your stay with air conditioning available in the property.



Parking is included at the São Tiago car park, a few minutes’ walk from the house, and is not within the property. The car park closes overnight, but vehicles may remain parked inside during this period.



Bus stops and routes are available nearby. The Old Town is lively, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings, when Barreirinha and the surrounding area may have nightlife activity.



Check-in is available from 16:00 until 05:00. Smoking inside the house is not permitted. Maria's Place is well suited to couples, small families and friends looking to stay close to Funchal’s waterfront and historic centre.



The City Hall charges a local Tourist Tax per guest per night. The charge amounts:



- 2EUR per night;

- This rate applies up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights and does not apply to guests that are under 13 years old.

- This charge must be paid directly to us so we can deliver it to the City Hall.
