Pros and cons
The apartment is immaculate, very well decorated and has an incredible view. The host manages a number of properties so every time we had a question there was time spent explaining at which property we were staying which was frustrating. There was so much written communication from the host beforehand that I had to plow through emails to find the check-in process which did not make much sense. There was missing (the code to get in is through the basement door not the front door) and inaccurate (there is no drawer in the kitchen with instruction manuals or any manuals at all for that matter) information. The property looks bigger in the pictures and, although the unit is accurately described as a studio, it is more of a tiny apartment. For example, the drawers in the closet don’t open all the way because the closet door blocks the way and if you want to eat at the fold-up table, there is no room to walk around it. Finally, this is not a place for non-smokers who want to leave the windows open at night to hear the ocean, as tenants in nearby apartments smoke and it comes through Into the unit.
This could be the perfect place for some but it was not for us.
