House had cockroaches!

Besides the constant finding of cockroaches in the property. That the owner was obviously aware of because lots of spray available and asked me to spray for it. The kitchen is not fully furnished. We couldn't cook our meal cause no baking dishes or baking sheets. Back door missing handle to access. The bunk bed has a leg that is bending we were afraid it would collapse so kids didn't sleep in it. The TV Roku disconnected and I had to spending time connecting and buy batteries for remotes. The dishwasher is not mounted so eveyone load it falls out if the counter and no dish washer pods provided. Also if you want to check in even a. Hour early there is fee if 50.00 an hour which I have never seen.. I wouldn't recommend this place! The pool was nice! Huge cockroaches to greet you though when you come inside.absolutely disgusting!

CSUF Commencement

We reserved this house for my daughter’s graduation. The home was very clean and worked well for our family. We had eight people in our group but the home was only stocked with four towels and four plates / bowls in the kitchen. The main bedroom is missing drapes on one of the windows so the street lights and neighbors lights shine in all night. We also could not locate the fire pit in the backyard. Overall our stay was enjoyable and if we were to come back to Fullerton we would consider staying here again.

Slow to address major system issue

We stayed 4 days, on the morning of day 2 we realized that we had no hot water. We were never given a phone number to call, only told to message through VRBO. I did and didn’t hear back from anyone for 2 hours (7-9am). Aspen asked me to locate the hot water heater and turn it back on. My husband went outside and did so. Rain water off of the roof was pouring into the area where the hot water heater is stored, which I told her about. She told me that she sent her assistant out twice that day, though I never saw him, and that if we needed it turned back on again to let her know. I informed Aspen that turning it on wasn’t going to fix our issue since it had been turned back on several times. Day 3 came and we still had no hot water. I told her I felt like we deserved to be compensated for not having hot water for multiple days, she agreed and asked for our permission to send over a professional. I said that was fine. The maintenance person came that afternoon, probably around 3pm. He said the whole unit needed to be replaced and that it was due to the water coming off the roof and into the housing where the heater was stored. He said it would take about an hour to remove the old one and install the new one, then another hour for the water to heat up. He left not long after, taking the old water heater with him. He didn’t come back until 8 or 9pm. He told my husband that he drove around for several hours trying to find someone to honor the warranty. When he couldn’t find that he gave up, purchased a new one, and came back to install it. He also had to build a system to divert rain water away from the area so this wouldn’t happen in the future. Since it took some time to install all of that and heat the water we didn’t have hot water again until after 10pm, half the family was asleep at that point. The next morning was the morning when we were checking out. Aspen did send me a partial refund, 10% of our stay less the cleaning fee and taxes. I messaged her to say that I didn’t feel like this was enough considering how much of our trip was affected by this issue. I never heard from her again. I would’ve been satisfied with a refund amount of 1 day worth of our trip but I was never given the opportunity to discuss the issue with her and it appears that she now considers this matter closed. While this hot water issue is unlikely to to repeat to anyone in the future I believe it shows how the property is managed.

Beautiful property, great communication!

The pictures don’t do this home justice. It was so beautiful and everyone loved it. The kitchen was equipped with all the tools we needed to cook full meals. We had a small issue come up but the property owner was quick to respond and had the issue fixed very quickly as well. I would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect space for our first big family trip!

This was a very big trip for us as it was the first time our 1.5-year-old met her friends and family on the west coast. Aspen was very open to our needs with having friends over to say hello, and the space was absolutely exactly what we needed. We loved the big open windows, and the pool was the perfect temperature. It was an easy walk to a local park and our daughter loved taking neighborhood strolls. The beds were sooo comfy and it was great having a washer and dryer (especially with a little one). We highly recommend this space and would 100% stay here again!

Family Fun

We had our family coming from Brazil and we stayed at this beautiful house. The house is super clean, very beautiful decor and our family loved every bit of our stay. We had good communication and I absolutely recommend it. If you are going to Disney like we did, this is a no brainer.

We booked this Fullerton Home for a family vacation. There was plenty of room for all of us (4 adults and 3 kids). The kids loved the pool. We found the photos to be very representative of the house. The Host was very responsive to any of my questions both before and during our stay when I did have to bring up minor issues during the stay that were promptly addressed. The one issue that we had with the house was that one of the bedrooms did not have adequate ac (in the summer depending on the size of the group this could be an issue). The proximity of this house to many restaurants / bars and the Anaheim area (Disneyland) does make it very convenient. Overall, we definitely recommend this house, and our family was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
