Comfortable, quiet getaway
I was greeted by the host, who was also most helpful and informative about the area. The host did a really nice job of decorating and furnishing the cottage duplex. My wife would call it charming. I found it clean and comfortable. While the neighborhood might raise an eyebrow for some, I found it friendly, quiet, safe, walkable, and -- most of all -- convenient to those who might spend time visiting The Villages. There is a city park just one block away, A very nice public library is just a 10-minute walk to the west. Two blocks beyond that is a very nice, white tablecloth restaurant with a sense of local history (Rose Plantation). Within a 20-minute drive, one can be in Leesburg, The Villages, Lady Lake, and more. I am glad I found this place. Very nice stay!

The interior has been updated, however, the exterior and its appearance needs attention. A nice gesture by owner to have basket of snacks available upon arrival.

Gary, Thank you so much for staying with us. We completely remodeled the inside of our house and it turned out amazingly adorable. The house is getting a new roof and siding later this year. Estimates have already been done and we are on the contractor's schedule for the exterior work. We are so glad you were able to get some warmth and sunshine down here in Florida.
