Hunting Trip
My hunting partener and myself stayed here for nearly 2 weeks. It was a fantastic stay. With a fully equipped kitchen, outside bbq, comfortable living room and nice bedrooms, you can't go wrong staying at Moon Farm. Suzzanne and Jay D are the greatest in making sure you have everything you need. I would give this 10 stars if we could.

Rustic and peaceful
I loved staying here! The owners were so super sweet and welcoming! I loved having the windows open and feeling the breeze. I walked around and felt like I was a kid again, exploring the surroundings! Can’t wait to come back with the grandkids! ❤️ The Colorado Monument is close by and it was simply amazing!

Great Place to stay
Such a cute property to stay at. We loved exploring and looking at all the buildings, meeting the animals. All the Staff members we had contact with where very helpful and nice. House was cozy,clean,and well stocked. Would stay again.

Such a cute place!
<10 minute drive to downtown Fruita; was a perfect place to stay for Co2Ut gravel race. Perfect place to stay for a small family with tons of fun things to explore on the farm. Hosts (live nearby on the farm) were super hosts. Would definitely stay again. Great value, too!

Very fun unique place
What a cool and unique place. They went out of there way to make us comfortable, including loaning us chairs to take to the wine fest and a outdoor concert. Highly recommend this unique location. (Although the clown tacked to the shed behind our house was a little creepy. HAHA)

Nice little house but creepy environs
Moon Ranch is located in a farming area of Frutta, CO. The little house we stayed in was just fine, clean and comfortable. BUT...on the property right behind the house is an aging area of multiple small buildings based on various themes for children: there is a clown house, a castle, a stockade, a chapel, an Egyptian pyramid, a log cabin, etc. Everything is terribly run down and looks unsafe. It positively gave my son and me the creeps. It all should be taken down in my opinion.

Girls trip to Fruita.
Stay was clean, mattresses comfortable, and property owners were great! Girls trip to Country Jam was super fun. The price was also great considering we were not there very much. Will definitely consider staying again. Thank you!

Beautiful country home and amazing deer camp
We booked the stay while hunting deer nearby. It was a great location. The manager of the property was 5 star. Furniture was comfortable. There was plenty of parking and we all enjoyed our stay.

Love Moon Farm!
We've been staying at Moon Farm with friends and family for years. The property is entertaining for all ages and it's close to biking and hiking trails as well as town. The owners are friendly, responsive and helpful. Both the apartment and large house are well maintained. I highly recommend staying here.

Great Mountain Bike Jumpoff Spot!
3 of us stayed at the Outpost. There was plenty of room and comfortable accommodations. We came to mountain bike. There was a secluded spot to keep our bikes on the deck. You can't get much closer to the trails on 18 Road, and about 15 minutes from the Kokopelli Loops and about 20 from the Lunch Loops in Grand Junction. The hosts were great to communicate before our arrival and while we were there. Checkout was easy. Would stay there again.

Clean, Cute Rental on Eclectic Historical Faem
We loved our stay. Owners were amazing. They were great to work with and took time out of their busy day to talk to us about the history of the farm and introduce us to the animals. Great shaded back deck to relax outside and not get too hot. We all loved visiting the horses, peacocks, rabbits, donkey and goats. Central location to 18 road and downtown Fruita. Owners also have an equine therapy program so staying at one of their 2 VRBOs helps fund that program. We will be back!

Perfect location
Great location in a quiet farm area of Fruita. The hosts are so kind and on top of it. We fought our four month old and the pack and play fit perfectly in the back bedroom.

Amazing
My family went to the Moon farm for my Birthday weekend. We looked at this property online and wr werr very intrigued, we didn't even realize exactly what this place was going to be, it was such a huge surprise. My two boys absolutely LOVED this place, they had so much fun on the farm. I could not have picked a better place to spend the weekend.

Perfect stay for our weekend away
This home was a perfect base camp for our weekend in Fruita. It is close enough to all the activities (downtown Fruita, mountain bike trails, the river, etc) and yet out in the country so it was quiet and relaxing. Our kids loved spending free time wandering around the farm and playing in the yard. The shed provided a great place to store our bikes securely and out of the way. It was a great place for us.

Fortunate find
We ended up staying here because of limited choices in Grand Junction and Palisade. As this place is such a unique find that was our fortune. If you have youngsters between 4 and 84 this place has a lot of interesting things to see and do. Also like new appliances incl washer and dryer. Clean homey and comfortable

Fun plan for children!
The property is certainly unique and really is well geared towards children who would be delighted in a stay here. The house was the right size for 4 people and had the ammenities needed for a good stay. The owners were very responsive and wanted to make sure that our stay was great and that I had everything that I needed. The next time we need to stay in the area we will be coming back!

The check in process was great. We were welcomed by the owners they showed us around and were very nice our entire stay! My 9 year old daughter and I were visiting to watch my son play baseball! It was a very nice quiet place! It felt like our home away from home!

Wonderful adventure experience
The house and grounds are very clean and we were very comfortable during our stay. The hosts are wonderful people. They helped us get settled and allowed our kids to explore their amazing property. They went above and beyond to help us through a challenging situation which occurred during our stay (not the fault of the hosts or property) and they handled it with kindness and patience. Moin Farm near Road 18 trails
Great place in a very unique setting. Be sure to know you are staying on a little pumpkin farm with all kinds of attractions for young children. The hosts could not have been nicer. We were there to mountain bike on the “road 18” trails to the north and I don’t think there is a closer location. I will definitely stay here again next time we are in Fruita! And don’t miss the Colorado National Monument just a few miles south. It rivals the beauty of any other canyon.

Awesome stay in the country, close to town!
We had such a great time here. We felt right at home in the house. It has a fun retro feel and was comfortable. Jannae and David are sweet people and we enjoyed our interactions with them thoroughly. The farm was so unique and fun. It was a great place to enjoy some outdoor space. The birdsongs were beautiful as was the scenery. Fruita was really cute too with some hip shops as well. Having Grand Junction so close was also very convenient. Super stay. We would definitely visit again!

Highly Recommend this Magical Place
There are not enough words to describe how awesome our stay was. The farm itself is unbelievably cool. Over 30 themed buildings that our kids explored multiple times. Castles, pyramids…..something for every child (and adult 😜). We spent a lot of our time hanging out with the sweet bunnies. The house we stayed in was very clean, had comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, and the air conditioner was able to keep everything cool. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Fantastic Farm Stay!
Our family of four had a wonderful weekend at the vacation rental and Moon Farm. Both of our boys didn’t want to leave the property it was so much fun! Lots to do, games, outdoor play, and animals to visit with. It was such a nice time. David and Jannae were very hospitable and great to have around. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. We will definitely be back!

Girl’s weekend
This was a perfect place for a get away weekend for a group of women needing to decompress and laugh. The location was wonderful and the owners are lovely people. Moon Farm is peaceful and has a wonderfully interesting history. We all enjoyed it and the people we met.

Family Meet Up Vacation
Coming from California, this was the perfect place to meet our mid west family for a mini vacation! Our check in process was flawless, communication was immediate, and the house was fabulous! We spent most of our time catching up with family on the big deck. The farm was so much fun to walk around and see all the little theme houses. The petting zoo was cool. I can't wait to bring our grandkids for a stay. David and Jannae were very helpful and accommodating to our family. My brother drove from Minnesota in his RV, and was able to park it outside our rental during his visits with us. David gave us great ideas for sights to see while we were in town. The Grand Mesa was beautiful this time of year and a great day drive. It was hot while we were there, over 100 degrees each day, and the evaporative cooler kept the house between 67 and 74 degrees the entire time. It worked better than my A/C at home! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to make all our meals. It was really handy having a washer and dryer as well. The beds are firm but very comfortable. Overall, the house was very clean, well put together, and the furniture was all very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Fun for everyone
We had an excellent experience at the Moon farm. We had a mixture of friends and family, young and old celebrating a 40th birthday. We wanted somewhere that could accommodate a reasonably sized group and also somewhere that had space to bbq and enjoy time outside. Moon farm was perfect for this! The little town and animals on the property were so neat for all the kiddos to see-and the adults too!! And the large lawn outside the farmhouse was ideal for everyone to setup corn hole and just sit and enjoy each other. We cooked big meals both nights we were there and the farmhouse had absolutely everything we needed-including a dishwasher so we were able to keep pretty picked up after ourselves. The actual home had plenty of beds and everything was super neat and tidy! Very cool property, very homey house. We loved our stay! Jannae was super accommodating for our large group and answered questions very quickly! Completely efficient checking in. We have no complaints...definitely a great place to stay in Fruita, CO.

Fruita Fun
The rental is set smack in the middle of moon farm which is a fun and eclectic collection of out buildings surrounded by a huge pumpkin patch. The home was clean and perfect for a family of 4. The kids loved being able to run around the farm and play nintendo. We loved the location.

Loved the Outpost
