We had a fantastic stay at this home—it was extremely well-stocked, comfortable for a large group, and perfect for gathering around the big tables for family and friends dinners. It was great having several separate seating areas. The views were incredible, and having two kitchens made our Thanksgiving cooking easy. We also loved ending our evenings at the fire pit. Highly recommend this place for any group looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway.

Perfect house for a big group

Eight separate bedrooms, two full kitchens and extra large living areas made for a great long weekend with eight old college buddies. All were happy, and we would rent this house again.

We LOVED this stay at Fripp Island! The layout of the house was really nice for 5 families with nine kids under 8! Plenty of room to eat, sleep, hang-out. We definitely used both well-equipped kitchens. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our favorite parts were the incredible view, deck, and small dock. Thanks for sharing your property!!

Family Gathering

This was our family's first group gathering in 30 years. Celebrating our Mom's 83rd birthday. The accommodations were perfect!!Plenty of room for everyone. *Beautiful setting for morning walks......*breakfast, coffee, Mimosa's on the open back deck.....*a short golf cart ride to one of the "5" pools......*back to the house to freshen up.....*nap-time, reading time, puzzle time, cocktail time........
Fripp Island is a Deer Sanctuary -PLEASE don't disturb/feed the the deer.

Family get together.

House was in a great location. Best on Fripp Island. (My opinion) House was great size for my Family. View could not have been better. We had a great week. Only problem I had was trying to communicate thru VRBO before our vacation began.

Awesome place to stay!

We came to Fripp for a Family vacation and this house was perfect for us! We had 20 people and there was plenty of space for us with room to spare! The double kitchens were great for cooking with our large group! The location was on the golf course and the view was spectacular! It is a short golf cart ride to the beach.

Great place for the whole family

We had a week here in mid June. The house was great for a large family gathering. The views are awesome. Watched the sunrise from the deck most mornings. Plenty of space for the kids to play too. Our adult kids love to cook and the 2 kitchens worked out well. Had everything we needed Next family get together we will definitely consider coming here again.

This is the Dream

This was the find of a lifetime, perfect for a family gathering! At one point we had 15 adults in residence and with eight bedrooms and five sitting areas plus a game room, two kitchens, we never felt rushed or squeezed in! We could feed everyone at the same time, plenty of serving dishes etc. The view, quiet location was PERFECT! FRIPPIN Beautiful!!!!

Quiet neighborhood

Another family reunion on Fripp. We have stayed at many homes. This home was a wonderful choice. It was very clean. The views were fantastic. Lots of wildlife all around. The living rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were inviting after a long day on the beach. The kitchens had everything you could possibly want or need. The dining room tables seated all 13 of us. We would highly recommend this home.

What a gem!

Wow! I starting writing an excellent review in my mind the moment we walked through the door. What a beautiful home in every way. The SPACIOUS living areas all pointing toward the 180 degree view brought the outside in. You could feel this house has hosted lots of memories for many happy people. Our party of 12 has enjoyed traveling together for years and we all agreed this house and its location will be one that draws up back again and again.

Pledge the Pink Team

My friends and I stayed at this property when we participated in the Pledge the Pink weekend Breast Cancer walk. This property was perfect for us: plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, but the right type of space that allowed us to enjoy time together. Most of the house has been beautifully updated, and the entire place has a wonderful authentic coastal vibe. The views are stunning; be sure to catch the sunset! We enjoyed the daily viewings and visits from birds and deer. The host was very responsive and communicative, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever dealt with! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this property again.

Spectacular Escape

This house is everything it says it is. We had 19 people aged from 1-61. We had beds for everyone- 2 of the rooms were big enough to put the pack n plays in for the babies. 2 kitchens was perfect for us. We had a regular kitchen and the smaller kitchen was our gluten free kitchen which made everyone at ease for no cross contamination Lots of living space to be together or a part whatever we wanted On a quiet street with the most spectacular views. The kids loved watching the gators cross the golf course and the adults loved watching the sunrise every morning. Donna is the perfect host, very responsive before and got there and while there. We will return to this home

quintessential old beach house

The house is quirky but spacious and well decorated. The views are amazing. All but two of the bathrooms are very small and outdated, but functional. The two kitchens thing is a pain in the neck, but made up for by the large dining space and many different gathering/chilling areas. Many pots and dishes in the kitchens. The pool table was broken when we arrived, so that was a bummer. No bath soap, dish soap or countertop cleaning supplies were provided, which was annoying.

Large Family Retreat

The property was excellent! First, it was exceptionally clean! Second, Donna, the host, was great to deal with. She quickly responded to my questions and gave us lots of information. Next, the property is a large older home that has been exceptionally taken care of and updated over the years. It is very spacious and there was more than enough room for our party of 16 to sprawl out. Last, the views from this property are amazing!!! Looking out from the expansive back deck you will see a small creek running through the wire grass and cattails (with a crabbing deck), directly behind that is a beautiful golf green and fairway. And if that isn’t enough you have a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean just behind the golf green!!! This is a fantastic property that we hope to go back to visit!

Great vacation home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! We had a large group with 20 people and we had ample space for everyone. The two den areas have lots of seating for teens and adults to spend time together! The house is very clean and well kept! The views are beautiful and the quiet street was a plus! Two kitchen areas and two washing machines made it even better! The yard area at the back of the house is well kept and there was great covered space for grilling! We had one issue with the internet and were extremely impressed with how responsive the homeowner was! It was fixed within a very short time. After 10+ years of coming to Fripp, it seems we have finally found the right house!

Great house for large groups. Very Comfortable.

It is a pleasant surprise when you find a great listing and the Physical property is even better than you imagined. It was a great time. Mostly we spent time with our family and cooked in. We utilized the two kitchens once for cooking and the other for drinks and cocktails. We used the grill nearly everyday. There were enough room for the 14 of us that we didn't even use one of the bedrooms. Overall very happy we found the place. Donna was very helpful especially her patience on explaining the amenity cards. We used 8 cards among the 12 adults. We are not golfers and we did not try any of the restaurants. Mostly they were used for pool access. If you are on the fence about renting a golf cart, it would mostly depend on how much beach time you plan to do. Nearly all the beach accesses only have room for golf cart parking. Honestly it was great to rent one and have it available. We rented from the marina and the rental/return process was about as easy as it can get. I can't say there was anything we were lacking from the house. All the utensils we needed to cook our menu were available. We flew into Savannah early enough that we could send one of the cars to Costco and buy food for the group and still make it out to the island before dark. Preplanning the first few days of meals helped so that we could enjoy the house and island for a few days before needing to run out again. Grab your breakfast, watch the birds, jumping fish, and alligators from the deck and relax. We'd be glad to rent again. The house helped make my parents 52nd Anniversary very memorable. Thank you!

Slice of Heaven!

Everything was perfect except for a few items with electrical issues, plumbing issues in the main kitchen so we couldn't do dishes and palmetto bugs aka roaches and spiders were present but were all corrected by the host almost immediately! The house alone is an older home with some minor updates. The stairs and floors are extremely loud and noisy, so if you have late risers you may want to put them on the 2nd floor. Some of our guests did not get adequate sleep due to the loud stairs. Overall, the house seems kept up and clean with spectacular views! We saw lots of wildlife, deer, racoons, crabs and an alligator. We sat out on the deck and it was heaven on earth! It was nice to have basic seasonings and spices available along with coffee and sugar! It would be nice to have oil or butter available along with condiments especially for those who stay under a week. We had to buy a few condiments that we didn't use up unfortunately, we weren't sure if we should leave them behind so we threw away 1/4 used bottles. Cupboards have everything to cook and bake with, some shot glasses would be nice! I also recommend a garbage disposal. The rental includes amenity cards to the pools and clubs, which we visited and we all enjoyed each one of them. Sadly, the hot tubs were all down. Perhaps it is the time of year we visited. Our visit was 9/14-9/19 2022. Simply beautiful. Overall, we have been recommending this home to friends. It is extremely secure and safe. We will be back!

Our extended family of 15 (ages 5-72) loved staying at this property! We all had plenty of space—the 2 kitchens and multiple living areas were amazing! The view and sunrises were an added bonus! Beds were comfortable, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking and enjoying the island. Highly recommend!
