We are a work in progress, a labor of love. Every Winter we set time and money aside to upgrade, renovate, add more gardens and make things better in general. She had 54 rooms to inspect on your check-in day. Thank you so much for being patient with us while we are being busier than ever before and still maneuvering staffing shortages. Hi Bru e,I'm so sorry our 60ties style retro motor-inn with stylishly renovated rooms, the only indoor pool on the isle and an onsite spa in the heart of walkable Friday Harbor wasn't for you. Yes, being on an island is very expensive. Just think that everything needs to be shipped or flown over. In addition wages, taxes, property and utilities are a lot more than on the mainland, especially drinking water. You'll see that reflected in your room rate.
