I am going to guess that the property mgmt. company is slowly rejuvenating this house. It looks as though it is being slowly updated. A deep clean, coat of fresh paint and fixing some things up, would help this house get to the next level.
Pro's: The house is large and has a lovely back yard. An entire eco-system is back there with snails, bees, birds, etc. Good spot to bring a dog for some back yard fun. Pool table was cool.
Con's: Primary bedroom (king size bed) is a back breaker. We had to switch to the twin beds because our backs hurt from sleeping in it. We had no hand soap and no sponge to do dishes, so we had to purchase these items. 1 wash cloth for 3 people, so we had to make due there. The floors were not clean, after showering our feet would get dirty from walking through the house.
Overall, this house looks like it needs some TLC and to provide its guests with the basics in order to make their stay more enjoyable. In addition to what was mentioned, we did not know that the fires had closed a path to the sequoias making what would have been a 45 min drive or so into 2.25 hours. We decided not to go. We also could not get to 3 rivers due to flooding of the roads. So, we did not get to do anything we set out to do. We made the best of it by laying in the sun in the back yard
