"We arrived on a Friday evening to a quiet cabin. It backs up to a little babbling creek behind a screened in porch. Saturday we spent the day going to Broke Leg Falls which is beautiful and a short hike. We then drove around Cave Run Lake looking at the sites. We went back to the quietness of the cabin and enjoyed the afternoon. Dinner time came we took a 25 minute Drive to Morehead Kentucky and grabbed something to eat. Upon arriving Friday the host told me about Thunder over Big Woods...

"My bf and our two dogs came to stay for the weekend for a much needed and overdue couple's weekend. The cabin is beautiful and clean. We had a blast fishing in the pond. The stars were beautiful at night. There was also a handy Little Bear Cabin folder with a list of local shops near by and we had a great time exploring the town. There was also a number on the fridge for firewood that could be delivered. We will definitely be back."

The cabin is advertised as pet friendly and they even had welcome treats for our dogs. The check in/out process was very easy, the hosts were communicative. Would love to stay here again!"
