"Nothing fancy, and not as "cute" as the photos make it seem. Walking in there was a bunch of random glass and building materials in the hallway, creaky stairs, etc. The walls/doors are also PAPER THIN so expect to hear other guests if you stay here (i woke up to kids screaming a lot and some ppl playing loud music - they do have earplugs in the room though). There are two shuttered/closed down restaurants below the hotel, which gave it a sorta sad vibe. Otherwise, excellent location, easy 2block...

"Great find! Place was clean and exactly as pictured. Parking is a big bonus. One block walk to the beach. Some of the reviews mentioned the loud music from RBQ downstairs... that didn’t bother me. Overall, great experience, would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends."

"This was a great property and a great location in Brooklyn. It was close to the public transportation we wanted to teach my son to use. The owner has updated the rooms. The kitchen was fully outfitted, so when were were exhausted, there it was for some light cooking, or quick breakfast. The bathroom has a cool and classic subway tile style. First rate. We're already considering another trip."

"Overall impression? We'll be back. Our stay was great, even though getting there was less than great. The only minor issue with it is there was no place to hang dress clothes. There were no washcloths. Other than that, it was a great stay."

"We had a great stay at the High Tide for our family of 4, just a few minutes walking distance from popular Beach 98. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained. Great communication from management. There is a ton of great food spots all over Rockaway Beach and the High Tide is close to many of them (recommend Uma's, Claudette, Roasters, Bungalow Bar, Tacoway Beach, the decadent frozen pina colada at Connelly's, and pretty much everything at Beach 98 and Beach 105). "The flight was awesome. The location was perfect, a three minute walk from the DeKalb subway station. Only about 25 minutes to Manhattan.Is great, and we found a couple of great secondhand stores nearby. The market that is on the corner is fantastic. Everything was great."

"I stayed here with some friends over the weekend and I would highly recommend it. Neysa was great with communication, making our stay very easy. The interior of the space is beautiful, with a lot of helpful items added. The surrounding area has several stores and restaurants within walking distance, it is also very close to the train and Citi bike stations. We will definitely stay again in the future!"
