Perfect way to hit the Reset button

The pictures do not do this house justice!. My family and I needed a staycation to just relax and decompress and that is exactly what we got. Will definitely stay here again.

We spent a week here over the summer and loved it. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and crows nest enjoying the beautiful view of the water. The house was clean and well appointed. We would definitely go back again.

Vaca right off the beach, a must STAY!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home with UNBEATABLE VIEWS. We were there for an entire week and had everything we needed to relax, cook, and enjoyed an amazing stay on the beach. Definitely bring your family and friends here if you want to relax!

Fabulous place to stay!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks with family. House is amazing and view from ‘crows nest’ to die for! The interior of the house is ‘spotless’ but the exterior could do with a coat of paint and new furniture. Would recommend and stay again.

Tropical storm aftermath visit

The broken toilet seat needs to be addressed. I don’t believe the fridge is working properly. The freezer is fine. The top deck and stair railing are shaky. You should have them checked out. Considering a tropical storm just passed through I’ll give you a pass but after this storm I’d have it all checked out.

Ocen Gem was a true treasure!

Everything about this property was great! Enjoyed sunrise and coffee from the rooftop deck and meals on the patio. Short walk to beach and the house has everything we needed while there. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

Nice and cozy

Great water views, excellent response time for any questions, relaxing, nice decor, good sheets and towels. Always be prepared for mosquitoes at Treasure Island, does not matter what house you stay in. Could use lounge chairs outside, a large pan for cooking. I had to get creative with preparing a one pot meal. Couple of blinds need replacing. All in all would highly recommend!!! Bring all your own spices.

Fun family get-away

The house is great for many people to stay/visit with a convenient location to the pass beach area. The property management was immediately responsive and helpful. The towels and bedding provided were luxurious. The only caveat is the kitchen stock, no spices or anything left from previous guests as in most places. We bought plastic containers and left them there along with coffee filters. Bring everything you need for cooking, there is a small collection of cookware and dull knives. Other than that (who wants to cook on vacation), would defintely stay here again!

Crows Nest Adventure

Overall a great house and the location to the smaller beach is perfect. We loved the patio and crows nest. We were there during the lunar eclipse. The crows nest was an excellent spot for viewing. Suggestion to owner/property managers: The mattresses and the dishwasher need to be replaced. All “work” but need some upgrades.

Crows Nest is the bomb!

We truly loved the house. Excellent location on the island. Easy walk or in our instant by golf cart to the beach. The balcony with the crows nest was wonderful. Best way to view the stars!

Great beach house

The beach house was great, perfect for our short family vacation. The place is nice and roomy and the views are awesome, especially from the upper deck, you can see everything! It is a very short walk to a small beach, and just a bit longer walk down to the larger beach. It is perfect. The huge kitchen island is perfect for hanging out. Some notes if you are looking to work remotely: The satellite internet is a bit slow, but the cell coverage is awesome, so I managed by using cell for voice and everything else over the wifi. The internet went out once during an intense storm but was back up within about 20 minutes.

Prefect friends and family house

We had a wonderful time! My husband, 10 year old daughter, myself, and another family of 4 had a wonderful time. It’s a great location, not crowded, the house was perfect, and we were close enough to Galveston to go for dinner one night and then a day of Schliterbaun. Definitely would book it again!

The Gorgeous gulf coast

San Luis Pass is a pleasant relief from the crowded Galveston Island setting. The upper deck on this house offers spectacular views and is really a welcome feature. The house itself is well equipped and spotless. We will return!

Beach getaway

Great views, was glad we ordered a golf cart, hopefully they have hauled off that broken stove that was left right next to the entrance door upstairs. Toilet paper was too thin, could have used more kitchen trash bags. But was a pleasant stay and beach was pleasantly not too crowded.

Lovely stay

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend quarantining at the Coral Gem recently. The house was exceptionally clean, the bath towels were perfectly hotel-like, and the fridge made plenty of ice. Just a couple of notes for improvement: 1) The house could use wine glasses; and 2) The listing includes pictures of a propane grill and there isn’t one on-site. The property’s inventory list only promises the charcoal grill that is actually there, but the pictures and the welcome binder were misleading. This conflicting information was our only disappointment with the property. Spending time on the top deck was our favorite part.
