Multiple lists of rules and penalties were very off-putting to everyone in the family. Pillows were worn out and smelly. Sheets were inferior quality and stale smelling. Ceiling fan in downstairs bedroom was off balance and rattled. I washed downstairs sheets after the first night. Washing machine had accumulated sand under the tub and did not seem to wring clothes adequately. I was afraid to even use the dishwasher. So. I washed all dishes by hand! I never got the tv in one downstairs bedroom to work. Considering most beach house properties, not bad. Considering the rental cost, not good.

Great location and pretty interior. Unfortunately the hammocks that are showing in the photos are no longer there and I was truly looking forward to that portion of the stay but all in all we had a pleasant stay.

We loved the beach view, all the rooms were clean, it’s accessible to the beach! My family enjoyed it. The only thing is that the house had some ants roaming around and the smell of the water in the restrooms was strong (that is out of the property owner control). Great communication! Beautiful property.

Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful time. The property is as described as far as proximity to the beach. Communication with the host was easy and our host was very responsive (usually within 24 hours). The property was clean and well stocked (bath towels, blankets, kitchen supplies, etc). All in all, a fabulous stay.

We booked the house to attend a wedding in angleton. Our only regret is we didn’t get to spend more time at the house and beach. The house was so cute and perfect for our stay.

Perfect beach getaway

This house was right on the beach. Easy walk from the back porch down a decked pathway. We used our wagon to take our chairs and umbrella to the beach. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and very roomy. We loved having our morning coffee on the porch over looking the waves. The owner left very detailed instructions. It was a perfect getaway.

Our only complaint is the mattress need to be updated, and the bedroom to thr left downstairs needs curtains, when the motion light comes on it shines into the room. We really enjoyed the house and its location.

The Palmores were pleased!!

We rented this beach house to stay in for the family reunion at Stahlman Park. The house was nice just as pictured. I loved the decor…. It was the smallest of things that I enjoyed like the glitter in the upstair bathroom walls. The kitchen had everything I needed to make my potato salad for the reunion. The distance to the beach was perfect!! If I could change anything about the house and location I wouldn’t!! The whole family was pleased. The owner personally reached out to us and gave us tips and gave us her number in case we needed her. We did not have to bother her because everything was perfect!!!

Family/friends Beach Front Stay

Wonderful stay! We were four couples with children all under 4. The house was well equipped for kids, had a stocked kitchen, and was an easy few steps from the beach. It was everything we were looking for. A few things we especially appreciated: good outdoor shower/hosing setup, baby gate available in the house, charcoal grills outside, gated patio, outlet covers. A few minor things we noted: not much available cutlery (we’d brought our own plasticware so no affect on us), one room had an open area to downstairs (covered by shades) making it pretty loud for the baby there. Overall beautiful, clean house with everything we needed.

More positive than negative

Our family enjoyed our stay but a few things need repair and the outside siding needs washing. First floor bathtub faucet needs attention to work correctly. Stains on ceiling in the living room, and the front door is swollen and rubs. The decks were great with chairs to sit in to enjoy the view of the water. The air conditioning kept the house cold. Ample supply of kitchen dishes, pots and pans and utensils but the kitchen table was very sticky. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. We would consider staying there again if these minor changes and repairs were made.

The location to beach was amazing!! I was a little disappointed in the house. Pictures looked different. Definitely needs to be painted and toilets and showers need to be cleaned from stains. Overall we all had a great time and made great memories. Thanks again.😀

Family vacation

Great location, easy beach access. Plenty of room for my family (8 adults, 3 children). Big deck overlooking beach with latches on gates so 1 year old grandson could roam all he wanted. Only problem we had was the dishwasher didn’t do a good job of cleaning but we just hand washed everything wasn’t that big of deal would definitely rent again

Family Vacation Gift

The property was just OK. Not worth the price. The pictures need to be updated this property is not newly renovated. Hammock was rusted in place and 4 inches off the ground. The small table and chairs pictured not on property. There was a Broken Liquid Candle holder attached to the table where a umbrella would've been nice to have. The deck is not new and there are boards missing/Gap from the lower level ramp. There are Rusty Screws protruding from the outdoor shower that my grand baby stepped on. The Walkway is advertised as private however is shared with the neighbor. There is no under patio swing as showing in the pictures and the sand box is far from full of sand to play in. The outside plastic chairs downstairs are all cracked and weathered our daughter sat in one and it broke on both sides she hit her head hurt her back and was stabbed by the back arm portion of the chair. The tiles and grout in the front door area are all broke and shift when you walk on them. The listing say's there are 3 bathrooms which is also false as 1 of them was just a small spot under the stairs with a toilet and sink no shower. All toilets very rusty. House smelled of mold & mildew. Ceiling had spots on it where it had leaked and there was rust and thick dust all around the ceiling vents in every room. The coffee pot had almost 1/4 of an inch of dust on it. Not sure why we are paying for the cleaning fee if it is not being cleaned. Knifes very dull utensils in kitchen covered in rust
