Perfect beach vacation

Everyone had a great beach vacation. We loved the location and being right on the beach and there were so many shells! We loved going to look for hermit crabs when the tide went down. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed while cooking for our stay. 5 stars, we would definitely love to stay here again.

Secluded getaway

Family Spring Break

Our family of 9 had such a great time during our stay for spring break. House was awesome! Communication with the hosts was top notch. We have used VRBO several times and Jack and Lisa were the best hosts we have ever dealt with. Very helpful. House was SUPER CLEAN and so nice. Neighborhood was super quiet and safe. Short drive to the “swimming” beach but we spent a lot of time looking for shells, fishing and playing in the sand on the beach behind the house. Set up perfect for our family. Perfect Last Minute Getaway

The House is absolutely beautiful, very well kept as well as clean and comfortable, very welcoming. This was my first experience using vrbo so I was not familiar with the app in regards to setting up “push notifications” to be sent via sms rather than email which caused minor issues with communication with a booking error on my behalf when I made the reservation. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the property it was absolutely perfect inside and out. However the vrbo representative that I spoke with prior to engaging with Lisa was extremely unprofessional as well as unable to fully communicate due to a language barrier representative accent that I had difficulty understanding luckily I was connected with Lisa in which I was able to rectify my error and receive clarification. Lisa was absolutely amazing as well as accommodating throughout the entire process. Thank you again for being so graceful as well understanding.

A week in the sun

The beach house inside was very lovely! Too hot and humid for us in August. No shade on deck until 1pm so no comfortable mornings watching sunrise. Public access from the San Luis bridge just left of the beach house had fisherman drive up right in front of the house on beach frequently. Our last night, beach goers partied until 3 am and kept family member awake in queen bedroom. FYI no blackout drapes so car lights or sunrise can wake you early or keep you up at night in this room. Clean up/construction still ongoing in area, our water was cut off for a few hours with a boil notice after. A phone call was nice alerting us about imminent water cut off, we had to save water in buckets and go buy bottled water. A follow up phone call would have been nice instead of VBRO message. Keep your VBRO app open with push notifications! We didn't and didn't get boil notice until next day when checking app! Worker drinking at bridge did donuts on beach near the house tossing trash and tools. Another man drove up and took the tools!! Trash stays from whoever comes and goes. Open ground with exposed piping right next to this beach house would be unsafe for unwatched kids. Grill was not clean upon arrival with no scoop or instructions. Husband bought a scoop and left it for others to use. Owners responded quickly to all questions which was very nice!! Shells are fun and plentiful! Would stay again in cooler months after Beryl cleanup complete and workers gone!

Family getaway

We planned this trip as a pre-back to school trip. The host has been AMAZING. One of my sons broke a rule and I am beyond embarrassed. The host called us and explained it. They were great at communicating that with us as well. While there we had a decent storm roll in the middle of the night with some beautiful lighting. The home is beautiful and well presented!

Great Getaway

Needing a little getaway, we booked Escape at Treasure Island for a long weekend. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with plenty of room and amenities to totally relax. It offers views that nurture your soul, the sound of ocean waves to sing to your heart, and beachfront to tickle your toes. great celebration week!

celebrated my wife's 60th birthday along with our adult kids and their wives. it was such a beautiful time. the house is amazing and the location is so perfect. where the house is situated is a really nice and secluded beach. and best of all - you can see sunsets and sunrises bc of where the house is located. have to come to the house to see what i mean!

Great Escape for the weekend!

Our family of six and little doggie enjoyed our stay for four nights at the Escape at Treasure Island. The house was clean, pretty and perfect for what we needed to relax and the location was great! Relaxing, comfortable and very clean

The house is just as the pictures shows. It’s a very beautiful and comfortable home. I’m particular about cleanliness and the house was extremely clean. It’s a bit of a drive from Galveston but well worth it. The host was very responsive and even checked on us when a storm came through. The only suggestion is it would be nice to have comfortable outdoor furniture to be able to lounge on the deck. Highly recommend the Seahorse Bar and Grill that is nearby. Best hamburger I have ever eaten. We definitely would like to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful house, extremely well organized and clean

House was perfect for our group size of 5; with extra room. Was well equipped with an overload of kitchen utensils and extras! Weather was not the best so we spent most of the time indoors and thank God we chose this house as it was very comfortable. Lisa was a great communicator and was responsive to our every query almost immediately. Would definitely recommend this spot for families with older kids or adults.
