Old Bahama Bay is beautiful

Excellent room, clean, easy to book and easy to check in. Gorgeous views and easy access to the marina and the beach. Hope to be back soon!

Me and 3 buddies stayed for a couple nights on a fishing trip in West End. Perfect place for our stay. Room was nice with a great view. Well stay here again.

Great Trip

Great room in OBB that is close to the marina and has a great ocean view. Communication with owner was good and check in was flawless. Great landing spot for my family of 4.

Stay was great, room is close to docks which is nice. Great views and air worked well which was great after a long hot day! Will definitely come back soon!

The charm and spirit of this resort is reminiscent of the romantic Hemingway era or old hawaii. Loved every minute of 2 weeeks

Ants and no water

I’ve stayed here twice and we had ants both times. Last time I had no food in the condo and still had ants. Water went out on the resort and had no water to brush my teeth or use the bathroom or take a shower. Communication between the property manager was not good either. We will never stay there again.

A Really Great Value at West End Old Bahama Bay

I had a wonderful stay at this great condo for much less cost than a regular unit at Old Bahama Bay. And it was the best unit there in any case, with the best location, best privacy, and all the amenities as described by the owner! A daily fee of $20 paid to the resort also gave me all the amenities of the resort itself, and I was able to use the small but excellent kitchen unit to prepare nearly all my meals, as a way to save even more during my stay! Very highly recommended! The owner always responded to my questions immediately and was available to help by text at any time. Everything was as good or better than he described in our initial discussions. I will come again, and I am looking forward to bringing my family next time!

Nice stay, a few minor quirks

Older property. Hot water in shower slow and doesn’t get hot. Refrigerator freezes everything. Very few of machines in weight room worked. A little expensive. Too many add on fees

Old Bahama

Condo was clean. Has a wonderful view of the water. Host was very helpful and timely with responses. He gave us a very detailed description of the property and things to do when we initially booked. We had booked for an extended stay but left early due to it raining every day. There is not much to do when it’s nice weather, let alone a full downpour. It’s good to keep in mind the resort is intended for fisherman, so there is not much to do in general. You have various water activities (snorkeling, swimming, paddle-boarding, etc.) but a limited cove to do so. Same with the beach - not much to walk. We went into “town” one day to see what other options are were but unfortunately the area really never recovered from the 2019 hurricane. There is one market in town to get snacks and larger bottles of water (which you will need). Advice I have: bring cash and if intending to stay more than a couple days, treat it as a camping trip in terms of food and drinks as there is only one restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and a tiki hut that closes when it rains.

Husbands 60th birthday

The view from our room was spectacular and the beds were very comfy but the place was not kept clean floors were very dirty and when we asked to clean them we were told it would cost 35 dollars yet we just got there. Only one tiny thing of shampoo and conditioner that last one day if needed more we were told 35 dollars for that and more toilet paper. One can of beer at restraunt is 15 dollars and it’s the only place at this resort to drink. Also all the grills were we thought we could grill our catch had no propane and we were told they could not provide any. The food at the restaurant is excellent but limited menu and we were here for 5 nights. The fridge in our room barely kept stuff cool and the Marina had no ice to give us and the restaurant said they could not even give me a glass of ice. I would not have stayed here had we known all this and my husband was very disappointed in his 60th birthday get away.
