Great views, clean, and enjoyable!

The five of us who stayed at this sweet little view home enjoyed ourselves very much. Place is spotlessly clean, and the host adds many touches to make the house welcoming and comfortable. Our only concern was that the bed in one of the rooms was too soft, but we contacted our host and she said look into that. Otherwise, I would give this five stars plus!

Comfortable house & amazing view

The house is near the end of a quiet road and was easy to find, thanks to directions provided by our host. My wife and I were traveling with our dog, and the area was very dog-friendly with convenient walks and an enclosed deck. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom had plenty of storage space. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed our meals at the dining table with a wide view over the water. The little town of Freeland is only a few miles from the house. Our dog loved Double Bluff Beach, which is not far away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great little get-away

My two best friends from childhood flew in from out of state, and the three of us spent three nights in this adorable place on Whidbey Island to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The view was even better than in the pictures and everything was so clean and nice. The kitchen was extremely well appointed, and we had a nice combination of gathering spaces and private spaces. It was also a great location for getting to Langley and the farmers market, but also to the ferry to Port Townsend. Would definitely stay there again!

Freeland Scenic Vista

We had a slight difficulty finding the home as we were not able to locate the street sign. Once we located the turnoff at the Livesaver sign we were home free. The house is located on a hill overlooking the sound with a western facing view that is just stunning. The flowers and trees surrounding the house are almost too awesome for words. The house was very comfortable, well stocked, and the lower level game room was really enjoyed by our grandkids. We had a thrill that we won't soon forget when we were able to capture some breathtaking photos of the Northern Lights from the deck. Just a very relaxing stay.

Perfect relaxing getaway for 3 generations of family

Panoramic view of Admiralty Inlet from main living area of house was my favorite entertainment, watching wildlife, boats, and the sky. House is in a quiet, peaceful location and was clean, with updated, appealing decor. Our teens enjoyed the game room downstairs. We appreciated being able to bring our older dogs, as we hate to board them in their elder years. Be advised when finding the place that the private street is not marked with a sign. We had difficulty finding it when only using GPS maps when we first arrived. House is convenient to many appealing locations on the island and the host provided a wonderful, detailed guidebook with recommendations.

Perfect Family Getaway

We met our son, daughter-in-law and new grandson at this property. We enjoyed our stay. We spent most of week at the house not leaving except for groceries in the nearby town. We enjoyed the view most of all. Sunrises and coffee, sunsets and wine. We played cards and enjoyed the games. The host was awesome and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again. Quiet location.

Absolutely a wonderful stay

What a great house rental. House was as described. Had all that we needed and was very comfortable. Having been on Whidbey Island numerous times before, we wanted to try an extended stay. As good as the house was for our needs, the view of the Puget Sound is OUTSTANDING. Every day we got to watch all kinds of ships coming and going including a nuclear submarine. And the sunsets over multiple hours. You watch the water turn silver from the reflection to the sun warming your face, to watching the sun set. It never grows old. Our only complaint, it is our own fault is that the place is already rented for most of July and August 2024. We were ready to rent it again. FYI, if you need to talk with the owner, she is SUPER receptive, responds quickly to your communication and is local if you need something. For new people not familiar with Whidbey, the owner has a long list of reference items all laid out to explore Whidbey. Could not have been more pleased with this rental house.

Wonderful view

we came with our dogs and grandchildren. I was thrilled with two floors. What a blessing. The house was wonderful to have dogs in, and they were made welcome. Ammenities were there, to help visitors, protect the house. We loved watching the cruise ship and barges on the water. Thank you Becky for acommadating my chemical allergies. One recomendation is change the matress in the larger bedrooms, or add a pad. Ps sorry for all the spelling errors.
