"We found the staff to be very polite, discreet but helped when approached. The receptionist who welcomed us was charming and knowledgeable. He explained the challenges they face due to existing infrastructure problems beyond their control. There was a very clean pool available, lots of different chairs and loungers around the pool including a hammock. The cover from the careful tree planting gave the feel of an oasis around the pool

"The location is in the very centre of Bulawayo, with walking distance to both the Art Gallery (10 min) and The Natural History Museum (15 min). There are plenty of fast-food and restaurant options within minutes by foot from the hotel. Also, very easy to arrange pick-up/drop-off at the hotel as all tour operators doing excursions to Khami ruins, Great Zimbabwe ruins and Matobo NP know it.
The Selborne Hotel is clean, neat and I recommend it. Excellent location and very helpful staff.

"Overall my stay went very well. Staff was very kind and ready to assist, the breakfast included was simple but tasty and the restaurant also provides quality. The room was comfy and spacious. The only drawback was that my room faced the main street which was very busy and noisy both Saturday and Sunday night. Monday was perfect though."
