Fun casa!

We loved this property & it suited us well. The only problem was a bad fall & sprained ankle caused by the double step in the master bedroom. The first step had orange tape on it, but the second one only had a small strip of printed tape, which made it difficult to see with no lights on. I also had my hands full of personal belongings, which made that step even more dangerous!

A Beautiful Weekend

My family and I traveled to the Kerrville/Fredericksburg area for a quick weekend to hike and climb Enchanted Rock. We really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. I love the artwork displayed. We will certainly recommend this house to our family and friends!

Kerrville visit

The house was great. The only surprise was that it was listed as a two bedroom, but the second bed was an uncomfortable pull out couch. Had I read all the way through the description I might have seen that and been able to make a different reservation. In any case it is a nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Birthday weekend

We stayed here to celebrate my brother’s birthday. There were several events in town we attended. This location was perfect and the house is super cute. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. 2 full bathrooms made it easy for getting ready. We loved it!

An inspired refuge

Great camper drop-off stay at this home, which truly lives up to its San Miguel Allende/Marfa comparison. Loved that so much of the historic charm of the home has been preserved, and it was beautifully appointed with vintage MCM and fine art. Bedroom was very comfortable for a couple, and our 10 year-old slept well on the pullout sofa (the mattress topper was a huge plus). Great location for Kerrville with easy access to everything in town. Will definitely book again.

Great casita

Overall our stay was wonderful. We loved the house and everything in it. It was charming, comfortable and a great location. The only negative was the sheets on the fold out sofa bed were not clean. They were left on the pull out and all wadded up and soiled. So the first night of sleep on the sofa with just a comforter wasn't the best. But the next day we washed the sheets and we were good to go. We had a great time exploring Kerrville and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Great place for a weekend away!!

Really nice little place. Clean, quiet, close to food. Enjoyed the awesome water pressure, nice hot showers. Comfy couches and complete kitchen. Really enjoyed it. Loved the cute decorations as well!! Hope to come back sometime!

Best place in Kerrville

Have been staying at Casa Carmen for the past few years! It has become our home away from home! It is perfect for us! Close to town, close to the park, and close to everything we do around the Kerrville area! Micah and Laura are such nice people and always there if we need anything. We would not stay anywhere else!

Hill Country Jewel Box

We have stayed at this property many times- we have a big family that lives in the area and this is where we stay when we visit them! It is a great little sanctuary! The home is extremely well appointed- both a coffee pot and Keurig in the kitchen- wine glasses, bar tools etc. the patio is a perfect place to have a drink or rest at the end of the day- Furnishings and art are smartly appointed and comfortable but sophisticated with a good eye for design! The Den is cozy you can pull out the sofa for an extra sleeping spot if you need it- TVs are good quality and you have cable or can sign in to your own streaming services- Good linens and towels- king mattress is extremely comfy. Each time we visit this home is in even better condition- paint is always fresh owner makes ongoing improvements- Finally, you cannot beat the location - there is an Exxon near the house about 3 min away- a newish H‑E‑B grocery store about 5 min away- restaurants etc- You can get to I-10 in about 10 min drive- there are also walking trails nearby- that are beautiful and take you for a stroll by the river! We absolutely love our stays here- and are always looking forward to our return- Home is perfect for a couple or can comfortably accommodate 4 using the pull out sofa-

Very cute place

It’s a very cute house, wonderfully appointed in a southwestern motif. Clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Micah was quick to respond when power went out, even though it was neighborhood-wide. He checked with the power company and kept us informed. This was the nicest of three we have rented in Kerrville, and definitely will be our choice going forward.

Case Carmen

We loved the Casa Carmen! It would perhaps be helpful for future guests to prepare instructions on how to use the TV's throughout the house, as we were not able to conquer the remotes! The house is very comfortable and we enjoyed it immensely!

Precious Villa for a Couple

My husband and I stayed at this precious home for a long weekend. The house was clean and very comfortable for two. The home was spacious and we could have easily had some friends over, as there are two sitting areas, a large backyard and two bathrooms, so guests don’t need to use the master. I will say that there aren’t permanent doors separating the bedroom from other spaces, so not much privacy to stay with another couple (or kids if that would bother you). This didn’t bother us, we just didn’t notice that in the photos / before we arrived. Lastly, I am not a big coffee drinker, but the coffee they had available was delicious! Definitely try it out you stay there.

Best place to recuperate!

Traveled from ABQ, NM to have foot surgery in Kerrville. Had to stay for 6 weeks for recovery. Not a better place to recuperate than Casa Carmen. Have been here several times and would not stay anywhere else! Love everything about it! The location, the beautifully decorated home and the backyard that is so nice for our doggies!
