Anniversary Trip

The cottage was darling…..very clean and accommodating. If I had any comments it would be to set up real TV access instead of ROKU and buy a new comfortable couch to sit on. Bed was very comfortable and linens were awesome! Overall we liked it.

Nice cabin but not exactly as advertised

It was a nice little cabin but I think they just re used pictures from one of the others on property. The address was not accurate and we had a hard time finding it since fiesta winery has moved. Overall it was cute and comfortable but a little different then advertised. If its a chilly weekend bring blankets as there is only one on the bed and i needed more but none were available

So, the property was fine, the room needs updating. No cleaning supplies, no trash bags, the sofa and chairs need to be replaced, very uncomfortable. The bedroom was great as was the bathroom. No where to sit and have a meal. We thought about going outside but too hot. I feel this is a great place to stay for a day or two but not more than that. It would have been nicer with more thought to people wanting to stay indoors and visit. The location was great and the wineries were awesome. The directions were a bit off but we found it after a bit of searching. Anyway, I’d stay here again but just a night or two but no more. The price was right and again a good place to just get away. Great location, some downsides

Communication of check-in details was somewhat confusing, varied instructions between VRBO, text notifications, and Vacasa emails. Property cleanliness was sub par, dishes needed to be cleaned before use, bathroom cabinets showed signs of unwanted guests (rodent poop), and there was a large bolt with washer left on the living room floor. Towels were new and had not been washed, left fuzz behind everywhere. A/C and shower worked great, both TV remotes were dead/not working. Also, this is NOT a bed and breakfast; just a bed. Great location and no issues with access, be wary of planning week-day trips as many of the tasting rooms and restaurants are closed, including the ones on the property.

We loved the cabin and it's rustic vibe. Loved having the fireplace and being on property with a winery. Perfect for our stay with a small dog.

Rocky Hill Bed & Breakfast

Rustic. Nice location. Needs maintence and updates. Room very dark at night, very poor lighting. It is NOT a breakfast venue. Needs to provide cleaning services / linens for extended stays. Rocky Hill expects you to wash dishes used -- no area / sink provided to do so.

Love this Place!

The only thing missing during this stay were coffee filters and stirrers, and maybe some plasticware but we managed without them. It is one of our favorite places to stay while visiting the Hill Country!

Not what we expected

Arrived on time and room was ready. Walked in and all we could hear was refrigerator making notice. We found it in the clothes closet along with a box of silverware. Bed was comfortable. Went out the next day and returned to a hot room. Ava was not cooling. Notified vacasa. Told us that it freezes up when doors and windows were left open. We had been there all day and nothing was left open. We checked out a say early and went home. Also a can of deep woods off was found on shelf and it had leaked all over shelf and had appeared to have been leaking for some time as shelf was stained from it

Great Short Stay!

We had a wonderful stay here for 1 night! It is a perfect location between Fredricksburg and Stonewall! We had everything we needed to get some much needed rest. There are no frills, just the basics but that is what we were looking for when doing a quick getaway. The place is very cozy and had a TV in the living room.

Great spot

Historic structure steps from the Fiesta Winery tasting room. Not really a B&B as they leave a few breakfast items in the room. Needs a bit of care...toilet is not stable, light bulbs need to be changed and the refrigerator needs to be bigger. Was lovely however to listen to live music in the winery court yard just outside your room. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute, cozy cabin

Clean, quaint cabin. Cabin was clean & stocked with a few snacks & water. Access to Fiesta Winery & Six Shooters was nice. If there had not been a burn ban, we would have enjoyed the outside fire pit. Enjoyed music on Saturday afternoon.

It was a nice quiet stay!

Bed and Breakfast is what was listed but no breakfast was available! It was bed and pastries and we don’t eat much of that kind of stuff! Hotels provide breakfast, that was a little disappointing, we had to leave property to get breakfast! Otherwise it was nice!

We liked the quiet area and how quiet the cabin was at night. We did not like the lack of outdoor lighting at night. The pathways were dark and dangerous. There was a lack of communication as to how staying on the premises worked. We had no idea that there was no onsite management.

Wine Country Time

This was our second time to stay at this cute little place. Obviously, we liked it enough the first time to stay again. We just loved everything about it. Last time we only stayed one night, and the winery was already closed when we arrived. This time we stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed sipping wine at the winery. The place was stocked with tons of snacks and was just perfect. We will be back!
