The shower was a bit small at this rental. The bed slept amazing. Would like to know what mattress and bed frame they use. Loved it. Need better instructions on the location of the property. There was no address on the confirmation ; just a name; made it hard to find. Overall good experience.

Dirty & STAINED sheets & bedspread

Dirty & STAINED sheets & stained bedspread, not very clean cottage. I can overlook a lot of things, but not the bedding. The manager did bring different sheets. Not a good experience. Disappointed for the $$$ paid.

Property in Need of Repair

We booked this property for my husband's 59th birthday because it had 4½ stars. However, our experience was quite different than represented. The first mishap was when we went to take a bath. The hot water gave out before the bathtub was 1/3 full. The steps leading down from the living room to the bathroom have loose stones and we tripped over a stone that was broken free. We stayed 2 nights and the first night when the outside temperature dropped into the 20's the heat went out and the temperature in the room reached 61 degrees. The lamps in the living room did not have all the bulbs in them so it was darker than we would have liked. We contacted the property manager after our first night and she was difficult to get a hold of. We waited for a response for almost 2 hours, and since this was supposed to be a birthday celebration, we did not want to wait in the room for a maintenance guy to show up when we wanted to be strolling on main street in Fredericksburg shopping. The room was very dusty and both my wife and I left with coughs and fevers due to the filth of the room and the lack of heat during the night. We will never go back to this property as it was one of the worst experiences we've had with a vacation rental.

Great cozy place to stay!

We loved Annie’s Cottage! It was a little tricky after dark finding the right place, but it was very well stocked and a comfy bed! Will stay again if it’s just the two of us.

Lovely Place!

We enjoyed our stay. Great location! Easy parking! The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed having cable TV that worked! Large bathroom (only wish the shower was larger- very small). Great kitchenette area (fridge/micro).

Worst vrbo I have stayed in

When you walk in, you could see dust and the rugs that were everywhere were stained. Bed was awful, squeaked when you turn over. Husband had to put a pillow on his side, so that he wouldn't fall in the hole of the mattress. Chairs were very uncomfortable and look like they have been there forever. Smallest shower I've ever seen. (and we live in an RV). There is no bending to wash legs, have to stay straight and wear a shower cap. Too many nicknaks, no room to put your stuff out on in bathroom. Had a dresser if you need to use it, but would have to move the chair table to open the drawers. Could continue, but this is all the main parts wrong with this place.

Perfect accommodations for our 1 year anniversary

Close to everything, Annie's Cabin offers a quaint comfortable place. The cabin is situated close to other housing without being attached giving the extra quietness. Only 20 minutes to Enchanted Rock and with walking distance to the Main St. Couldn't of picked a better place.

Neat, historic, lovely cozy place

Wonderful! Very clean and welcoming. Small but lovely for one to two people. The small cabinet kitchen is well stocked with utensils, etc. but for those who want to cook: there is only a microwave and small frig - so be aware.
