Second Time

Second time stay at this cabin. It was awesome. I loved the privacy. This time we had friends staying at the other cabin on the property. Only thing missing is a firepit. But with Texas droughts in that area, it is too big of a risk I am sure. We will return again.

Great secluded cabin

We loved this little cabin. It was perfect for our weekend getaway, we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, soft bed, and that there was breakfast to cook in the fridge for us.

Great wine getaway!

Location gave you a feel of being in a luxurious isolated cabin in the woods, but there was a local restaurant with amazing food a block away! We were worried it was a little too far from wine country but it wasn’t far at all! Highly recommend visiting French connection wine and Calais. Property has a dvd player with a selection of options, an intimate 2 person whirlpool, fireplace with instant logs, biscuits with breakfast sausage, and coffee with creamer (you may need to buy more creamer-only minor downside.) Theres a wine opener in the mini kitchen so you can enjoy one of the selections you bring back.

Weekend get away.

We had a nice quiet get away. We enjoyed our stay at this remote cabin. We viewed the Solar Eclipse from the cabin, visited Alamo Springs cafe and went to a concert at Luckenbach. This cabin is close to everything, while still being away from everything. We will book again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Location!!

This property is well maintained and the location is beautiful. It is close to Fredericksburg, the bat caves, and a well known burger place within walking distance! We will definitely be back.

Best anniversary ever!

This beat out our first anniversary (Key West Fl) by far. The location and rental was beautiful. Quiet and relaxing w a short commute to town. This is a place we would definitely return to. This exceeded our expectations and made for a very memorable 2nd anniversary! We wouldn’t change a thing!

Beautiful quiet location.

Perfect location and wonderful accommodations! Sitting on rockers with breakfast was perfect. At night looking at the star lit sky was a wonderful end to the day.

Getaway

We really needed to get away from everything for a couple days, and this cabin fit our need perfectly. The Alamo Rd Cafe was nearby for one meal and we were close enough to Fredericksburg to do some sight-seeing meals there. We also did a lot of driving in the area looking at the beautiful wildflowers, old ranch buildings and school rooms, etc. We did decide we wanted to be sure to get back to the cabin before night fall since the roads would have been treacherous. I really made use of the whirlpool, which helped with my arthritis. Only thing I would suggest is jam for the biscuits 😊 and a more comfortable couch.

Enjoyed this place, peaceful, and quite.

A perfect cabin for 2 people, beautiful view sitting on the front porch, really nice hot tub, about 15 minute or less drive into Fredericksburg, full size fridge so you can put all your food in, with freezer. Reason for answer on property manager? No complaints.

Off The Grid

This property is perfect for those wanting to discount .... very little cell / data service, no satellite TV, just the stars and sky above you. Fireplace is perfect for the cool evenings and the oversize bathtub is perfect for romantic evenings.

Quiet, Luxurious Getaway

We found this property through a filter seeking a spa tub and fireplace and were delighted, when it was all we sought and more, with a spotless, charming layout and exactly as pictured. The rainy, cold weather kept us off the charming porch with the Hill Country view, and we had to drive the roughly 50 yards to across the street and awesome Alamo Springs Cafe. Nice touches included a kitchen for cooking full meals and a full sized fridge that had breakfast fixings inside provided as a greeting and a king sized comfortable bed. One caveat may be very limited Internet, so entertainment was limited to watching DVDs and being together in the quiet with a fire burning.

Quaint, crazy cozy cabin!

We have stayed in both the Country Cabin and the Barn cabin and love both! They are both cozy, peaceful and have the most comfy beds! We love that breakfast foods are provided. Easy check in and out. Highly recommend and Alamo Springs Cafe is right across the road.

“The barn”

My wife and I had a perfect weekend getaway at the barn! Perfect for a couple or small family looking to stay in a cabin overlooking beautiful scenery. The barn is in a very quiet neighborhood with a restaurant and walking trails within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone looking to plan a weekend getaway!
