Cabin was clean, comfortable, amd just as described. It is definitely off the beaten path a bit, and we really enjoyed the natural setting and privacy. Plenty of wildlife and nature to take in, while still being only 20 minutes from town and all the shopping and restaurants. One thing we missed in the listing was no cable TV and the TV was not able to be used for streaming. They did however have a number of DVD's available to enjoy. Unique property surrounded by woods if you are looking to unplug and get away for a few days. We enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future if we return to the area.

Beautiful Romantic Cabin!

The layout is perfect for a romantic weekend. The decorations are simple and tasteful. The bathroom is laid out perfectly with great lighting. It is a little further away from Fredericksburg than I realized, but it actually ended up being a beautiful drive from the tasting rooms and downtown.

Enjoyed the stay!

Nice stay, but a little weed maintnence along the path to The Barn would have been nice, lots of small burrs in that path. Might lok at the outside door handle into the cabin, very loose and wobbly. Love The Barn or The Cabin, stayed in both a few times! Our go to place close to Fredericksburg!

Out in the Country Stay

On short notice, we booked the Alamo Springs cabin. It's definitely outside Fredericksburg but within walking distance of the Bat Tunnel and Alamo Springs Cafe and on the way to Luckenbach. The cabin isn't much too look at from the outside but is cozy on the inside. The bed is lovely and lots of space in the bathroom. My husband likes baths and I like showers so the set-up worked well for us. I appreciated being able to use the antique vanity when the the bathroom was occupied. The couch is worn out and should be replaced and it would be helpful to have another towel bar or hook in the bathroom. We appreciated having eggs and sausage in the fridge and a bag of ice in the freezer. Note that the bed and the couch occupy by the same room. We would stay here again when we can come back and view the bats!

Nice Cabin In the Woods

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cabin was nice and simple. The bed was very comfy and the view from the covered porch was very pretty. It is remote and away from the Main Street in Fredericksburg so it generally took us 20-30 minutes to get to town but we enjoyed the quiet. My only complaint was the internet never worked. It showed we connected but the signal was so low we could never get our information to load. We would have to wait until we drove into town to get a good internet signal.

Dirty and needs attention!

The main complaint is the neglect and how dirty the cabin is. The dishes, bathroom mats, mattress pad on sleeper sofa, blanket, the stove burners, pillows and the floor were disgusting ! The sofa which I know is the owners responsibility is disgusting! Needs to be replaced! Of course the sleeper sofa mattress is horrible for a decent good night of sleep! Lastly, I have called the rental company 4 times and left message for the manager to call me but not getting a response...hmmm. I see a real problem with managerial style...not good!

Cute studio with everything needed to get away

Very quaint and private cabin nestled in the woods. Property was clean and well stocked. Very convenient to park and Alamo Springs Cafe. Beware there is no wifi, which is clearly articulated in the description. Perfect getaway!

Wonderful for a cabin getaway

This was exactly what we wanted: somewhere just a bit off the grid but near to Fredericksburg and other fun sites. The cabin was lovely and the perfect size for a couple. I really loved having the breakfast fixings. Would definitely stay again.
