Eagle Pines Point is perfect for multiple families and is just a short 90-minute drive from the Twin Cities. Ward lake is a 100-acre lake that has a public boat launch, with great water quality, excellent fishing right off the dock and full recreational use.
You will have the entire lake home to yourself including all the amenities it has to offer. The lake home is set on a half an acre of wooded land, come enjoy this outdoor lover’s haven located on a quiet dead-end road.
Eagle Pines Point is unique for lakefront property due to being on a private dead-end road, being able to enjoy level lakefront property that sits on a point, catch fish right off the dock or jump off the private swim platform. The water's edge is just a short 35-90 feet from the house depending on where you are at on the property. Just bring food and you don't need to leave with all the amenities right here.
Get on your hiking shoes and blaze the Ice Age Trail (1000 miles of hiking, non-motorized trail) within a couple miles of the property. McKenzie segment, Straight River segment.
Enjoy the expansive lake view throughout the house that’s tastefully decorated. Relax during winter evenings in front of the wood burning fireplace after a day of snow shoeing, ice fishing or snowmobiling.
Enjoy the backyard and level lakefront where you can use the 30 ft private (not shared) dock. Pick your fun activity where your kids can play, fish, swim, use the 18 ft. floating mat, swimming platform (in deeper water), Swimway water floaties, use 4 kayaks (1 of the 4 is specifically a kids kayak - sit on, weight less than 100lbs) or paddle boat using over 200 feet of shoreline.
Bring your own boat as there's a public boat launch a couple blocks from Eagle Pines Point. Tie your boat up to the private dock. Ensure you follow Wisconsin boating regulations to help minimize the spread of invasive species and clean boat before and after using the lake. Ward lake is a great fishing lake with walleye (stocked every 2 years from DNR), bass, crappies, northern, pike, and sun fish. We catch walleye's each year off our dock!
Spend your summer nights stargazing or roasting S'mores at the lake-side fire pit. Enjoy the hammock area meant for relaxing.
During the cold winter months enjoy snowshoeing, ice fishing, snowmobile, or cross-country ski right from the property. Downhill ski or snowtube from 3 different resorts within 30 minutes. On a rainy day, there's several DVD's, Ms. Pacman Partycade arcade game console with several pre-loaded games for the family, Sega gaming system, foosball coffee table, giant Connect 4 and puzzles to keep you entertained. "Alexa" Echo Dot is installed in kitchen and living room for additional guest enjoyment. Ice fishing is only a few steps away from the house.
5-minute drive to Straight Lake State Park, a short drive from popular Interstate state park. Close to 5 state parks. Wild Mountain Recreation Area, Troll Hagen, zip lining, Fawn-Doe-Rosa Wildlife Education Park, St. Croix Casino, Franconia sculpture park, wineries, several golf courses and antique shops all nearby.

Bring up to 2 fury friend (dog) along, up to 75lbs. No aggressive breeds. Well behaved dogs, only. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pet. Please bring your pet’s bedding as they are not permitted on the furniture or bedding. We supply an extra set of dog bowls, and waste bags.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Spacious deck, Weber gas grill, charcoal grill, screened in gazebo on the waters edge, private 30 ft. dock (end of dock is about 6 ft deep but is not suitable to dive from) 5 kayaks, 1 of the kayaks is specifically a youth kayak, paddle boat, 18 ft swim floating mat for hours of fun for kids and adults. Adult inflatable lounger floats. (Dock and water boats are typically not available from Oct.-April. Dependent on the weather and seasons. Inquire if they are available.)
INDOOR LIVING: Smart TV's in all bedrooms w/ Disney Plus, log into your own streaming apps to watch other items. DVDs, puzzles, ceiling fans, wood-burning fireplace, (bring your own firewood). Each bedroom has USB ports. Living room also has USB touch lamps. High efficiency AC units. There is a laundry room available for use during your stay and an extra refrigerator in the laundry room for extra food and drinks.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ cooking basics, refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, drip coffee maker, crock pot, griddle, milk shake maker, popcorn maker, electric roasting pan, toddler chair, convection (oven setting), extra USB ports, Echo Dot Alexa installed for music. Extra full size refrigerator in laundry room.
Guests are responsible for bringing their own beach towels, coffee, food and beverages and personal toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc.)

SECURITY CAMERA INFORMATION: - Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera located on the front of the house that looks towards the driveway and garage. They do not look into interior spaces and are used only for security purposes.
NEIGHBORS: Please be respectful of the neighbors, observe quiet hours between 10pm-7am, and adhere to property line markers. This ensures we can continue to operate our rental for others to enjoy.
HOUSE RULES:
FIRE PIT RULES: 1. Burning of household trash, plastic or extremely flammable items is prohibited 2. Use of charcoal lighter, gasoline or kerosene to start the fire is prohibited. Only non-chemically treated wood can be used 3. Wood burning fire pits can never be left unattended. All embers must be doused with water until fire is extinguished 4. Ashes must not be dumped in the common areas
- No fireworks - The property does have an upstairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility - This property has high-quality cleaning standards and uses a professional cleaning company to thoroughly clean and sanitize in between guests. We also follow all Polk County Public Health recommendations for cleaning and sanitizing. - The cabin runs on a septic tank, please use water sparingly, please do not flush or put down the sink any oils, grease, chemicals, feminine products...etc. - If you use the fireplace you need to open the damper handle to make sure it's properly ventilated. When you leave the property, please close the damper handle - The kayaks and lake toys are typically not available for winter use during the months of October through March due to the lake freezing over. Please reach out to the guest contact to inquire if they are available. - During winter months, the private road is plowed, however walk paths are guest responsibility
- No additional guests that are not registered. No additional guests past occupancy limits of 10, with no exceptions. This is Polk County guidelines. No parties, or large gatherings. - For guest and owner safety, valid ID, registration of vehicles and signed rental agreement will be required prior to check in. If rental agreement is not returned, booking can be cancelled. - Additional cleaning fees may be enforced if excessive messes are left. - Evidence of violating the house policies/leaving the property in an unsatisfactory state may result in additional fees.
Pet Policy:
- Pet Types Allowed: Dogs - Breed Restrictions: No aggressive breeds. - Number of Pets: Maximum number of pets allowed per stay is 1 dog. - Size Restrictions: 1 dog up to 75 lbs. - Off-Limit Areas: Keep dogs off furniture and beds. - Behavior Expectations: Dogs must be supervised at all times. Do not leave the property with dog left in the house. Dogs must be on leash when not on property. Clean up dog waste from yard and dump into garbage can (not in home.) Dogs must be well trained. Keep barking to a minimum. - Cleanup Responsibilities: Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste properly. - Damage Responsibility: Guests are responsible for damage caused by their pet, and you may charge for repairs or additional cleaning.
