This place was awesome! My family really enjoyed it. Our only gripes were the check in time was very late and the main floors furniture wasn't the moat comfortable.

Amazing cabin!!

We booked this for a weekend bachelorette party and it was perfect! Very clean and well kept cabin with lots of room and beds for everyone. The pool and hot tub were a hit. Highly recommended booking!

Family Vacation 2024

Our family really enjoyed the family gathering area. The table and living room being open helped to make our gathering together easy and fun. The pool and hot tub was used every day and we enjoy them.

Great place! Lots of room for guest and the indoor pool was an absolute hit for the kids!! The listing and information notes there isn't Internet, but there is now which was a great surprise when we arrived.

Family vacation

This is the perfect spot for a family vacation. From the comfy beds to the swimming pool, the cabin was amazing. We truly apperciated our time here. Merri Anne is easy to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great Family Trip

Great place in the country! Pool and Hot tub was very nice. Kids loved the pond, fishing and kayaking. Just a little was away from Honey Run Park/falls.

Lovely rural property

Great property for a large family gathering. We were attending my daughter's graduation and this was a good sport for us all to stay given the limited hotel options. The house was very clean and as advertised. Mornings on the porch with coffee were a highlight.

Amazing getaway

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The heated indoor pool was awesome! It was a great space just to hang out and unwind. Plenty of space for the 14 people we had. Enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and sitting around fire. Just what we were looking for and would definitely recommend for large group get together.

Bachelorette Bash

The cabin is even better in person! So much character and detail throughout the whole cabin. The indoor pool was the best part!! We had so much fun celebrating our bride to be by over eating and drinking, games, gifts, swimming, and having a fire! We will be back and hopefully next time we walk the property to see the beautiful scenery and/or stop in town for some food/drinks!

Great weekend getaway. Clean and relaxing. 2 things I think would make it better- door locks, they didn’t work properly. And couldn’t find where to turn heat down. Overall, we loved it and would love to come back.

Awsome place for a relaxing getaway with the family.

Amazing from top to bottom. Our family enjoyed spending time relaxing and enjoying the country setting. Everything in this home was extremely clean and well taken care for. The pool and hot tube just added to the much needed relaxation. The only negative I can think of was not being able to spend more then just the long weekend here.

Great getaway

We brought our kids and six grandkids (ages 3-13). They loved the pool! It was a perfect size for our family and deep enough to play games. The grandkids love when they can all sleep together, so the bunk beds on the bottom level worked great for them. The weather warmed up enough that we could all get outside and play in the fresh air. Everyone wanted to stay longer!

Lovely cabin in the woods

We had a great couple of nights here! The cabin was decorated for Christmas, is really cozy and sleeps plenty! Also each of the three levels has its own bathroom/shower. The kids had a blast in the pool, but note there is no shallow end. The kitchen is decently equipped but you willl want to bring your own bottled water, oil, spices, pan scrubber, etc. Also wifi was just installed before our visit. Host is friendly and met us onsite when we arrived. Look up Weyrich Woods Lodge for accurate directions. This cabin was a lovely getaway!

Amazing get-together

Beautiful private property with an extremely cool luxury cabin that sleeps up to 16. We were a group of long-time friends who stayed for a 3-day getaway , and we are already planning for a return reunion next year. The cottage was impeccably clean, decorated beautifully in a rustic motif, right down to authentic wooden beams and saddles for barstools. A fabulous heated indoor pool and an outside hot tub. This place truly has to be seen to be believed- a hidden gem. Check-in and check- out were a breeze. The property manager gave detailed directions to find the place, met us there to check us in and show us around, and was very responsive. Check- out was non- contact - no need to wait on anyone to sign out. Such a cozy, beautiful, homey vibe. Don’t hesitate for one moment to book. We will be back!!!

Several issues need to be fixed

It was adequate as a place to sleep but several issues caused problems. 1. The pool was so hot! Two of my kids would only swim a half hour the first day and one wouldn’t go in at all. I put a thermometer in and it was 96 degrees! That’s almost like a hot tub! I asked the owners and was told to leave the cover off for a bit. Day two we took the cover off at 10am and left it off all day. It was still too warm so we opened two windows in the pool area. We swam twice that day for about an hour each but it was still too warm to stay in longer and more hot water constantly coming in. I asked again and was told to leave the cover off all day but not overnight “or it would get too cold.” Well, it was already off all day so I left it off overnight. Day three we finally enjoyed significant time to swim. I wouldn’t have paid so much for as little as we were able to use the pool, and it only ended up being nice to swim in one day out of three, and then only because we did the opposite of what the owners said. I get that this was warmer weather than is normal for December but if a change in weather is that big a problem then they need to get some temperature control on there. #2 No window coverings. The one main-floor bedroom is the only room in the house with drapes or blinds. Any other room you spend time in, zero option for privacy. The kids wanted to sleep in the loft, but I didn’t let them because they would have been up with the sunrise each day because there was no option to cover the windows. So I had to make them sleep in the basement bunks. If you had more people it would be even more of a problem. #3 Safety problem: The basement bathroom has a step right off the tub and toilet. It’s a hard tile floor and even though they were trying to be careful, one kid slipped off the step getting out of the tub and fell and hurt his knee, just another damper on the already mediocre vacation. It’s a cute themed cabin but I wouldn’t recommend it unless they fix their issues.

50th birthday weekend girls’ getaway

We absolutely loved this lodge! All the comforts of home while being “off the grid”. We had such a great time using the pool, hot tub and fire pit. Nice, large space for everyone to spread out, relax and just enjoy each other’s company for the weekend. Would definitely come back for another weekend.

FAMILY VACATION

We stayed here last year and had to come back, because it had everything on my check list for the kiddos to do. Indoor pool, pond with a sandy beach. Tables in and out for the whole family to sit together. Plus a hot tub and horse rides if you desire. Great time had by all!

Birthday gathering

Merri Anne was really easy to talk to, especially when we needed to change our dates. The lodge itself is beautiful and well kept. We only had one issue with the microwave door being loose, but it still worked. My son's friends especially enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. I wish they provided wifi because we didn't have any cell service. We could receive texts if we we were near a window but we couldn't get phone calls or have internet access. That was inconvenient. It was a peaceful setting and great for gatherings.
