We are frequent visitors. This is our third stay at Pelican Point. The house is magnificent, the location is calming, the views are wonderful. The home is well stocked in the kitchen. Pool, hot tub and grill are all functional and well maintained.

Six military families started camping in tents 48 years ago. We have progressed to this lovely home on a lake with 7 bedrooms and 8 bath rooms. This is the ideal setup for a group get together. Large spacious kitchen connected to a large living room with plenty of seating to remember the old times together and create new memories. The property has large windows in many of the rooms facing the lake which provide a scenic picture. The property also has smaller screened in rooms facing the lake that can be used for quiet time, small group talks or reading a book. We saw eagles catching fish, ducks swimming around the boat house and fisherman trying their skills along the bank. The property is well maintained and looked after as some members walked the property and enjoyed nature. The pool and hot tub were used and enjoyed. This property has everything you need for a group get together. It could become our permanent reunion spot. On the down side, the main TV in the living room and several TVs in the bedrooms didn't work and we couldn't get anyone out to look at them? So, we missed college and professional football games and the Ryder Cup playoff. Also, the toilet areas are not ADA compliant and have no grab bars for assistance?

This house is a great spot for a big group to gather. Our group of approximately 20 ladies has stayed here the last four years and we love it. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, bathrooms and TONS of space to gather. Beautiful setting, lovely pool and hot tub. Two inside kitchens and one outside. It honestly has everything you need. We are already planning a return trip next year.

We stayed at pelican point for a family reunion, and the house was great for a large group! Plenty of space to spread out, but also many areas to gather together. The kitchen was fabulous! We enjoyed the pool, grill, boathouse, and everything in between. Very family friendly for a multigenerational stay as well. We’ll be back!

Family Vacation

Awesome house and property for a large family gathering. I don't see how there could be a better property on this lake when you consider the large space, great views, pool, hot tub and covered boat dock for fishing or watercraft. This was our second time here with a group of 16 people and will be coming back again in the future.

Wonderful. We are repeat guests, and the grandkids love the place. It is an absolutely beautiful location. The house is designed for easy living. Has private areas and gathering areas. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. Pool was cleaned twice while we were there for a week.

Pelican Point Paradise

Pelican Point was the perfect location for our annual family lake trip. The home is beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Amazing well equipped kitchen with ample dining and living space. The pool and waterfront were big hits.

When we got there this time my son said “the place last year was fun, but this place is fun and it feels like home! We love it so much!

Great stay! House is beautiful & spacious and our family enjoyed staying there. Outdoor pool area is nice with plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy. The boat dock is large. We were able to bring our boat and jet skis. Bill and Jerry were very easy to communicate with. Will be back next year!

Spacious Greene Retreat Home!

The place that has it all. Room for large family to never feel on top of each other. Constant fun for all ages to enjoy the days and the nights. Well-kept landscaping surrounding a spread out, awesomely structured home. Even if you have complaints, this place makes you happy! Highly recommend anyone with a large family from 62 to 4 years of age, its hard to beat:)

Wonderful retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was large enough to easily accommodate our family gathering of 11. There are large living and dining spaces. We enjoyed being next to the lake though this isn’t the best time of year to enjoy the lake itself. We will definitely return if the need arises again.

Perfect for big groups

This is our third consecutive year staying at this perfect house. We are a group of approximately 20 to 25 women who all went to school together. We’re now in our late 60s early 70s. We love having a place that has plenty of room for us to all gather together and has comfortable sleeping arrangements. This house is perfect for that. The property manager and owner are great to deal with and the house works so well for a large group. Highly recommend.

Perfect house for a party

We were a group of 15 that stayed in the house and we hosted a birthday party for about 50. The house was amazing and very well stocked. So many indoor and outdoor spots to spread out in. The pool was awesome and the lake was gorgeous. Jerry and Bill were very easy to communicate with and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend this house.

Wow

The house is huge and well kept. Storm damage had happened a month prior, but it had been repaired or was in process. Jerry was very helpful at the check in. We kept our boat at the dock, and all went well. Pool staff cleaned the pool and hot tub twice while we were there. Kitchen is well stocked. Two sinks, two islands, two dishwashers. Our combined families had a great time. The only issue was with wi-fi, but in some ways that was a blessing as it got the teenagers involved in other activities. :)
