This is an absolutely gorgeous house built on the side of a mountain, pictures do not do the view Justice... Curt, The homeowner goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I would highly recommend this stay. I don't think you will find a better long-range view in North Carolina...

Incredible family getaway

The view is absolutely spectacular. I’ve never seen a view like it. Rooms are enormous, the pictures don’t even do the house justice. We took the kids snow tubing and hiking and had such an amazing time. We loved the game room, and house was super well stocked with more than you need. Awesome way to ring in the new year. We hope to stay here again!

WOW! What a view!

The pictures do not do this home justice! This is such a beautiful home and view!!! We have visited this area many times over the years and this was, by far, the best place we’ve ever stayed. A ton of space, the game room is awesome, the home is easy to find, but still way up on the mountain. The three huge masters (plus a kids style room) are perfect for friends vacationing together or a large family. My only advice would be for the host to put blinds or curtains on the bedroom and bathroom windows, especially with the new house being built above on the mountain. And the home could use a deep clean (IE mopping floors, wiping down walls, etc.)

Stunning views

This is advertised as The Most Spectacular Views in the Smokies and it did not fail us! The view is breathtaking upon entering the house. The house itself is very comfortable and spacious. The game room added great entertainment in the evenings. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Property

When we arrived at the property honestly our mouths dropped open in astonishment. The home is huge, beautifully appointed, clean beyond clean and the views are amazing. We would highly recommend this property!

Worth repeating

7 friends and family, all over 70, enjoyed this spectacular view and spacious house. It's many pluses prompted my husband and I to come back for a second summer. We were dismayed to find the carport and front steps unswept and covered in bird droppings when we drove up. However, the inside was immaculate and just as delightful as we remembered from last year. I swept as best I could with the small broom in the house and would have hosed it off if that option had been easily available. We LOVE the ever-changing view but more seating was available.

View is priceless, both inside and out!

The view is priceless! Both from the inside of the house and outside! We enjoyed cooking out on the new grill almost every night as we enjoyed the view. We loved the swings on the balcony also! All ages enjoyed the game room, playing pool, foosball, air hockey, and best of all pinball! The host was quick with responses to questions. We will definitely go back! The only slightly negative thing is that the pool cues need to be repaired or replaced.

Great game room

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Game room was a blast. Concerned about the new neighbors building ‘above’ the house. Will need blinds/curtains in bedrooms when this is finished.

Amazing place to enjoy God’s magnificent creation!

This is my second time at this beautiful cabin! The view is magnificent - words and photos can’t begin to describe the beauty and peace from the deck. We had 7 adults (3 seniors) and 2 kids…and everyone loved it! The owner and property manager are both super responsive and helpful. The kids (and adults) loved the game room. We hope to be back again one day!

Spectacular views and house

Great house for our group. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is perfect for visiting with each other. We love the stereo speakers on the porch. It was easy to get to Franklin for shopping and to the local golf courses.

Great house no matter the weather.

This was the third time we’ve stayed in this home. All the king beds are perfect for the couples and the room with two single beds works for our two kids to sleep next door to mom and dad. A big plus is everybody having their own bathroom AND everyone loves the entertainment room. We have already booked our next stay.

Beautiful home with stunning view!

We really enjoyed the home and the views. It was very clean and comfortable, beds were comfortable and we all enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to add blinds or curtains in the kids room so they aren’t up with the sun and downstairs on the ground level. The roads to the property were great and location is convenient to town.

Better than the Pictures!

The view is advertised as spectacular- and it is! The pictures online do not do it justice or reflect how it changes from hour to hour. We also can’t say enough good things about the property manager and how she handled a couple of storm-related glitches with both speed and grace. Everyone in our group was over 70 so we would recommend adding grab bars in the showers and a railing on the front steps. An even better idea would be a handicap ramp to make the house wheelchair accessible! It has a wide open floor plan and the upstairs master and bath are so spacious they deserve their own zip code. We loved the swings but would also add more rocking chairs on the porch and tables/chairs to seat eight at meals both inside and outside. We are already missing that cool mountain breeze and want to come back.
