Couldnt ask for a better place to stay. This cabin has it all! Our family of 9 had a wonderful experience here. My daughter graduated from WCU this weekend and worked out perfect for us to travel back and forth. Went into downtown Franklin to eat the first night was awesome. The night of graduation we hired a private cheif that came to the cabin and fixed us up. Perfect set up for a long day. The host are great!! They are very explanatory which makes everything easy. They are quick to respond if you have questions along with very helpful and super nice. I highly recommend a stay here if you have the chance. The views are awesome!

OMG! Where do i start?! This cabin is amazing! My whole family loved the cabin. Our boys were never bored! I even got to read 2 books the 6 days we were there. The cabin is very clean, all of the essentials are there, you don't have to buy extra anything just to make meals. We only had to buy the food. We will definitely go here again! Thank you so much for opening up your home to us! Our thanksgiving was amazing!

We fell in love with the house and everything it had to offer. There was something for each of our teenage children to keep them occupied. Would def stay here again. Only down fall was getting to the cabin you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle lol we struggled a bit but eventually made it. It was worth it!

The best view

The cabin was everything we wanted for our family vacation in the mountains. The view was amazing! The cabin was very clean and spacious. We grilled out and used the fire pit for roasting marshmallows almost every night. The kids loved the game room and outdoor activities. There was something for everyone to enjoy at this beautiful cabin.

Amazing cabin!

This was by far the best stay we've had. The cabin was so spacious, and clean, we had everything we needed. There was so much to do. The views were absolutely amazing. Our kids had so much fun and we got to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again!

Our mountain escape

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our vacation. We loved the cabin. It fit every need we had. The view in the morning on the porch and at night before bed was beautiful!! If you are looking to unplug, unwind, and come home with a peaceful mind this is your place!!

Grandeur of Creation

This Was a wonderful family gathering place. The serenity and beauty were matchless! The cabin itself is well appointed, equipped and a credit to it's owners. At this time the approach to the cabin is better navigated with AWD or 4 wheel drive. Also, it is not suitable for handicapped or mobility challenges persons. I would still rate it at 5 star!

Great cabin!

Me and my family enjoyed staying here. The kids and adults enjoyed the activities and fire pit. I would stay here again for sure. I also enjoyed the seclusion. Road up was a little rough but it was worth what was there.

Wonderful Property with an Adventurous Approach

We enjoyed our stay here immensely and would 100% stay here again. The property itself was well kept and beautiful. We enjoyed our early morning coffee on the porch each day, watching the clouds lift out of the valley below. The cabin was very peaceful and private, just like we prefer. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have their own space. The kitchen had all the cookware and dishes you could possibly need to make your meals. The cabin was a great place to relax and spend quality time with family. Everyone was sad to leave at the end of our stay. The only "downside" to the property is that it is quite an adventure to get up the mountain to the cabin. Four-wheel drive would be highly recommended. That being said, all in our party had two-wheel drive SUVs and with some skilled driving, eventually made it up safely. By the end of our stay, we felt confident in how to maneuver up the mountain (i.e. no one got out and walked). If you have a light car with low clearance, you may be in for a hike. Angelo did mention that there are plans in the works to revamp the road in the challenging section. All in all, we loved the cabin, the location and it being nestled into a nature of a slower time! We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for serenity and the quiet peace of the mountains, with the caveat that they have an appropriate vehicle and some back country road driving experience. We hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful family vacation! The views are breathtaking! We loved making s’mores outside, playing ping pong, board games, and the rocking chairs. The decor is beautiful. We saw a wild hog, deer, and goats up the mountain.

Beautiful hideaway in the mountains

We had such a great long weekend. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The view from the porch was amazing and we spent most of our time outside talking, while our kids played on the porch or with all the fun amenities in the yard. The host was very communicative and easy to get a hold of with some pre-trip questions. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the game room! Little ones had fun hunting Easter eggs on Easter morning and the views were beautiful.

Peaceful (and fun)!

A metal sign on the mantel of the fireplace says, "Home Sweet Home." That's a very good description of the Rustic Cabin. While the weather outside became cold, rainy and windy, my husband and I enjoyed reading by the fireplace. The teens, meanwhile, never grew bored as they played in the loft and game room. Their laughter filled our days at this lovely home.

Amazing Mountaintop View & Peaceful

We stayed the week after Christmas. My two teens had fun inside and out. My wife relaxed and I went gem mining just down the mountain. Great restaurants in Franklin, and very quiet place to rest and relax. Plenty of firewood and very clean. Great place to stay for sure.

Exceeded Expectations!

We’ve rented many vacation homes over many years and this one exceeded them all! The owners thought of everything!! Their attention to detail was amazing! We were hoping for a Christmas tree but got decor in every room! The decorator of this home created a warm, cozy inviting atmosphere! The porch was our favorite with a breath taking view! Beds were more comfortable than our beds at home which made it hard to leave. Kitchen was fully stocked! The gravel was was only drawback and with 4w drive was no problem at all even in rain. Beautiful setting and very accommodating hosts! We plan to rent again soon!!

We really did enjoy the stay. And the view was wonderful even though all the leaves had changed already. It was just the right amount of room and all the beds were very comfortable. Being aware that there was a dirt road the last half mile was not expected, but worth the trip.
