We enjoyed our stay here immensely and would 100% stay here again. The property itself was well kept and beautiful. We enjoyed our early morning coffee on the porch each day, watching the clouds lift out of the valley below. The cabin was very peaceful and private, just like we prefer. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have their own space. The kitchen had all the cookware and dishes you could possibly need to make your meals. The cabin was a great place to relax and spend quality time with family. Everyone was sad to leave at the end of our stay.
The only "downside" to the property is that it is quite an adventure to get up the mountain to the cabin. Four-wheel drive would be highly recommended. That being said, all in our party had two-wheel drive SUVs and with some skilled driving, eventually made it up safely. By the end of our stay, we felt confident in how to maneuver up the mountain (i.e. no one got out and walked). If you have a light car with low clearance, you may be in for a hike. Angelo did mention that there are plans in the works to revamp the road in the challenging section.
All in all, we loved the cabin, the location and it being nestled into a nature of a slower time! We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for serenity and the quiet peace of the mountains, with the caveat that they have an appropriate vehicle and some back country road driving experience. We hope to visit again!
