Private lower level 2 Bedroom guest space.
- As you enter our home through the back garage entrance & go downstairs, you'll find your own very spacious area that is private to you alone. The space is fully furnished & spacious, there's a 40" smart TV in the living room, and tvs in both bedrooms. Plenty of storage, too. The kitchen is complete with dishes, glassware & eating utensils, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher & coffee maker if you choose to eat in. There are 2 bedrooms and both have queen beds. There's a dining room area and 1 bathroom with a soaker tub & shower stocked with towels, also, a stack washer & dryer for your convenience. Pets are accepted upon my approval at $10 per pet per day. Home away includes the first pet in their fees, for guests having more than one pet, a request for further funds will be sent in an additional request.

Family get together
The property is a beautiful home, on 2 acres, conveniently located near everything. The hosts are delightful, very friendly people who fell in love with our dog! We enjoyed our weekend here very much, and look forward to more in the future when we visit Chicagoland.

Enjoyable stay
We enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very friendly. My one suggestion would be to install a safety grab bar on the wall by the shower. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Our stay
Property owner was wonderful and nice. Brought brownies when we checked in. Apartment is in basement as stated. Beds comfortable but have heavy plastic for mattress pads. Which makes noise. Beds were firm which we like. Was convenient for our trip.

Comfortable stay in this large apartment
We were delighted to find this property that accommodated pets and the apartment was perfect for 4 adults and our medium sized pooch. While it is pet-friendly, one of the bedrooms is designated as no pet allowed as it is carpeted. The rest of the apartment flooring is tile. the apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable and we appreciated all of the amenities supplied. The large property and nearby bicycle path were very convenient and an easy way to get some exercise. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Just what we needed!
My husband, son, and I (and dogs) needed a place to stay for a few days after we closed on our old house, while waiting for our new home to be ready. This property is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Margie and her husband were very welcoming, and Margie was great with communicating. The location is fantastic! The reviews about Margie’s brownies are all true. They are amazing!

Highly recommend
Home was beautiful and owners very accommodating. Was able to accommodate our late check in time and greeted us at check in and out. Anytime we ran into owners outside he talked with us as if we were old friends. Would highly recommend this home.

Great location
My wife and I were in town for 2 weeks to monitor our local business. Margie and Rick were wonderful hosts and provided us with complete privacy. The accommodations were very spacious and well stocked. We felt that it was a great value and allowed us to accomplish our goals.

Wonderful place and wonderful host
I enjoyed myself.It was peaceful,alot of stores were close by,the host are so warm welcoming,very clean and put together and top notch.I will be back again!!!

Beautiful Apartment!
We had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We would gladly recommend this apartment to anyone who needs a place to stay in the area.

Great space and close to everything
We needed a place to stay to visit friends in the Frankfort, New Lenox and Joliet area- along with making a trip to 6 flags. This basement apartment was perfect for my family of five. The owner was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be renting here again!

Hospitality Plus!
Our hosts were so kind. Our stay was somewhat open- ended and Margie worked with us. She made us feel so at home- welcoming us with brownies, sharing the bounty of her garden.
The apartment is so spacious and well appointed. Thank you Margie!

4.5 Month Stay
My wife and I were in the process of relocating out of state. We were in a jam because our house sold before our Frankfort business sold. We needed a place to live locally—having a specific move in date but an unknown move out date. We visited several rental properties in the area. All wanted 6-12 month lease agreements that came with hefty cancellation penalties.
Margie and Rick were an answer to prayers! They understood our situation and graciously accommodated us, our business, our pets and our unknown time horizon.
The large, 2 bedroom space was perfect for our personal and business needs. Margie makes THE BEST homemade brownies. She also baked us a pecan pie on Thanksgiving! Rick changed out a flat tire on one of our vehicles right before we were leaving town.
We will be returning to this apartment in the future when back in town.
For folks unfamiliar with Frankfort/Mokena/New Lenox, there are a lot of activities and excellent restaurants in the area. You will not be disappointed.
