We enjoyed our time away immensely and hope to visit again. Mike and Krista could not have been more gracious! Clean, comfortable, and quiet! Our stay at Dawdy Haus was fantastic! The property was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the location and ability to walk to everything in Downtown Frankenmuth. The host is super friendly and provides a great breakfast.

Busy Trip

We were there for a family wedding. The bed and breakfast place worked for us. We were so busy with family, we didn't spend too much time at the house. When we were there, we didn't see or hear our host. So we didn't feel we were being a bother to her. This is our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was a concern as to how this worked. Lilac was very welcoming and breakfast was nice. The house is located within 5 mins of all the cute shops. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed staying there, it was so quiet and relaxing using the hot tub after a long day of walking the shops. Lilac was a good host and made us good breakfast. The house was just like the posting said, it was cozy and comfortable in a beautiful neighborhood!

great location for Frankenmuth

We stopped here for one night on our way up to Mackinac Island. The location is great and close to all of the attractions in Frankenmuth. The neighborhood is nice and we took a beautiful evening walk that ended by the river. The owners were very friendly and breakfast was good. We knew we were taking a risk staying at a bed and breakfast where we would be sharing a house with others. We did have a private bedroom and bathroom, but felt we had to stay in those tiny quarters. Our only complaint was the temperature in the bedroom. It was uncomfortably warm in our room and there was no thermostat to control the temp. I cannot sleep with ceiling fan on at night because it triggers my allergies. We opened the windows, but it was a very warm night and neither of us slept well. We realize the true Bed and Breakfast experience is not for everyone. The explanation on VRBO is accurate, so we are in no way criticizing the owners. It was a good location for a halfway stop on our way to Mackinac Island.

Early anniversary trip

Although our stay was brief, we enjoyed our time at this house & our hosts. They accommodated our requests and made us & our dog feel welcome. We also appreciated the extra effort when we realized we left some items. Thanks again for being such good hosts!

comfortable stay for a quick overnight

Had 2 meetings in Frankenmuth, one Wednesday evening and one Thursday afternoon. It is mid winter break here and the hotels were full of families. Found this listing and it worked out great. Easy to find. Within walking distance of town, exceptionally clean with well appointed linens and towels. Our hosts Mike and Christa were welcoming and friendly and felt like old friends. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. An outdoor hot tub was an added plus. Room is small, but king size bed was very comfortable with well made linens. Felt like staying with family..
