The space Our chalet is situated in the highly desirable Mittersill Village, located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest with easy access to many nearby activities including skiing, hiking and biking trails in Franconia Notch, Echo Lake for swimming, the Cannon Aerial Tram and more. After a day’s adventure in the White Mountains, relax by the wood burning fireplace in the family room with cathedral ceilings and eclectic decor. Or enjoy a beautiful sunset while sipping hot cocoa on the large deck.
As you enter the home you will be greeted with ample storage space in the mudroom to leave all your gear. Walk into the main living area with expansive windows, cathedral ceilings and a large brick fireplace. The open concept living area flows nicely into the dining room with plenty of seating for the whole group. Enjoy conversation with friends and family while cooking in the brand new kitchen with high end appliances or fire up the gas grill for those evening barbecues. Additional bonus space off the kitchen can be used as a cocktail lounge or home office workspace.
The bedrooms are clean, crisp and just the right size to accommodate a queen bed and your belonging. The main level bedroom and adjacent bathroom is quietly tucked away down a small hall off of the living room for those needing single floor access. Walk up the beautifully restored stairway to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms as well as a 2nd full bathroom. As a bonus, head downstairs to the basement tv room where the kids will enjoy their own space to play or watch TV. The home has over 2000 square feet providing ample space for a group of 6. Please Note: -While there are bunk beds in the basement (for owner use), this area is not meant for guests to use as a sleeping space. We ask that you not use this room as a sleeping space and we do not provide linens for the beds in the basement. -There is only one TV in the home which is located in the basement lounge with limited seating. -This home has a ductless ac unit in the main area that will cool the house. Leave bedroom doors open during the day to circulate cold air -The second floor bathroom has one of the very few original features of the home, a porcelain tub. It is clean, but does have rust stains from years of use that we are unable to remove. -Please remember this is a family home, not suitable for parties.

RENTAL TERMS/COSTS: Total guests not to exceed 6 people. Rental period begins at 4pm on date of check-in and ends at 10 am on date of check-out.
PARTIES/NOISE: Absolutely NO PARTIES. The vacation rental is not suitable for people looking for a party house. This is a family neighborhood and guests should keep noise at a respectable level. Guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately if any complaints are made in reference to a party in the home.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURE: Check-out is at 10 am. Guests are expected to follow the check-out procedure. Additional fees may be charged if the check-out time or procedure is not followed by guests.
FIREPLACE: Guests are advised to use the fireplace with care. DO NOT overload/overheat the fireplace. DO NOT use the fireplace if you do not know how to use it.
SEPTIC: Our home is on a septic system. Please do not flush sanitary items or wipes down the toilet. Do not put coffee grinds or kitchen grease down the sink drain.
WEATHER: No refunds are given due to inclement weather or loss of power caused by storms.
INDEMNIFICATION & HOLD HARMLESS; ASSUMPTION OF RISK. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless your Host, North Woods Vacation Rentals LLC, and the homeowner, for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the Vacation Rental, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, fines, penalties, loss of personal belongings, or theft of property, which is made, incurred, or sustained by you and/or anyone using the Vacation Rental during your stay. You and anyone using the Vacation Rental during your stay accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of third-party transportation vendors, activities participated in while on the premises, or amenities provided at the property, as applicable.
GENERAL TERMS. If any section, clause, paragraph, or term of the Rental Agreement is held or determined to be void, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, all other terms, clauses, or paragraphs herein shall be severed and remain in force and effect. This Agreement shall be binding on and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and on each of their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assignees.
We want our guests to enjoy our home to the fullest, and for the safety of guests, our home and neighbors, you are expected to follow our house rules and check-out procedure. If it is discovered that any house rules are not followed, guests may be asked to vacate the property and will forfeit all monies paid (including any unused nightly rental fees and deposits).
This Agreement is between the owner of the Vacation Rental (your “Host”), and the individual completing this booking transaction for the Vacation Rental (“you” or “Guest”). You agree that you will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each individual present at the Vacation Rental during your stay. This includes ensuring each individual in your party or otherwise present at the Vacation Rental is aware of and in compliance with the terms identified in this Agreement.
The Guests agree to the terms of this Short Term Rental Agreement, as evidenced by payment and the acceptance of the booking agreement through the direct booking, VRBO or Airbnb platform. Hide
