The house was stocked with everything necessary to have a wonderful time! The white bed linens were clean and the kitchen and living room was a great space to hang out! Owners were super responsive and kind. We had a wonderful ski trip!

The house is beautiful, comfy, and clean! It is great for a couple of families or a group of friends. Plenty of room to sleep on comfortable beds and spread out your visit and activities around the properties on couches, tables, outdoor furniture, and on the dock! The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The state park nearby has nice walking trails. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, making for a nice get away.

Just Perfect

We spent the weekend with family that ranged from 5 to 73. We all had a wonderful time. This was our second time at this property and it hasn't failed us yet. The check in was a breeze, as the owners communicate well. Don't try to get in early, though! 4:00 means 4:00; the code doesn't work until then. This property offers so many activities. The lily pad for the lake was a HUGE hit as were the swings, fire pit, ping pong table, bags and foosball games. The house has plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was easy to cook in as well and is one of the best stocked I've come across. This house is a place to make memories - and we do.

Nice house in Fox Lake

We enjoyed our family stay at this home. Check in was easy and the owners were very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. The dock and covered area by the water was nice and we enjoyed using the lily pad. The house could have been a bit cleaner and I wish I would have read the listing more closely that one of the "bathrooms" is an outdoor shower. Otherwise, it was a fun week

Worth every penny

This property was perfect for our sprawling family to spend quality time together! It was clean and comfortable and was stocked very well especially in the kitchen and baths. Even had swings and a little slide for the youngest family members. Lots of toys and games for rainy days too. The rest of the family enjoyed the hot tub and game tables downstairs. Would happily rent here again.

Comfortable Stay With Amazing Views

This house was perfect for a ski trip with friends. It was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. There was enough parking for 4 cars, and the proximity to Wilmot was great. Note: The neighbor is not the friendliest and was pretty confrontational when we accidentally parked in the wrong spot. The hosts were very responsive and helpful so that the situation wasn't escalated.

Family Trip

The house was amazing!! Absolutely stunning and had everything you could imagine. EVERYTHING is labeled the linen closet, the kitchen draws- an OCD dream come true. They have every pot/pan/spices you could imagine. And don't worry, they have plenty of blenders for margaritas! Although we had some unfortunate events happen (none of which were the owner's fault) It was a great time. We didn't go out to much on the boat we rented, but the fishing was great off the dock. in a few hours we caught Smallmouth bass, Bluegill, and some pretty decent sized White bass. Great time.

Amazing Time - We Had A Blast!!!

Our family group ranges from age 4 to 72. We all had a fantastic time at this amazing house. It is fully stocked with anything you need. Everything is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kids LOVED the lily pad that's available for use. The outdoor spaces are well arranged and cared for; they even provided firewood for our campfire. You will NOT be disappointed with this lovely rental.

We really enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home! Owners were very helpful. We loved the gazebo where we watched some of the most beautiful sunsets! Views were wonderful, home was very clean and well stocked, super modern with plenty of room for all of us! Thank you!

Winter Getaway

We had a family weekend planned for a bit of outdoor winter fun. Mother nature decided to give us a blizzard and below zero temps. Our outdoor winter fun quickly turned into indoor winter fun. And we had a great time! We had nine adults and one child. We were all very comfortable in our own rooms. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The Living room, dining area was spacious. Had toys for our 2 year old and The fireplace was beautiful. As a family this area Of the house was more than comfortable for the nine of us. The large sectional held us all, as did the dining room table. The beds were comfortable. The linens were comfortable. The pillows were comfortable. While we were there, the management company I believe, checked on his frequently to make sure that everything was good since there was a winter storm going on. We were able to sit in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the warmth while looking at the beautiful snow covered lake. Gorgeous views! It was the perfect house for an indoor weekend and I know it will be the perfect house for an outdoor weekend. We will be booking this again for our family getaway in 2025. !

Nice view but overall needs maintenance

Enjoyed our stay despite the issues. We appreciated the veterans discount and accommodations for our change of dates. For those reasons, and the lovely view, I gave this property a better rating than I would have. Checkin email was sent late and we had the check in time confused. We arrived early, greeted by the property manager who lives in the apartment next door. She said it was ok and we could stay (did not mention additional charge that we were asked to pay after check out) Stained carpet throughout stairs, basement. Old ping pong table was broken when we arrived (we were accused of breaking) living room chair. My sister sat in, collapsed, mold in master shower, mold in basement shower. No parking space in garage, as described, as they had a bunch of furniture stacked.(Not the best neighborhood) Garage entrance door dirty. There are cameras outside of the property. The property is also surveyed by the property manager who lives next-door. At one point she was taking a video of our teen boys with her cell phone who were enjoying the hot tub. No privacy. Highly recommend purchasing insurance here. (we always do JIC)You will be held accountable for anything broken. During checkout, we met the cleaning ladies in the alley, who told us to take our time (they were still cleaning next door. ) as we had elderly parents with us. But were asked to pay fees the next day because of it. Owners messages were extremely rude. Too bad, this home could have been amazing.

Lots of DIY; Needs updating and up keep> Not a luxury property

This property is not a luxury property and is priced higher than the finish-out warrants. We did enjoy the view, but there is a 6+ apartment unit not shown in the listing that you look at to your left which is not nice at all. Property was not clean> I sent pics to the owner…. Safety: the driveway/entrance has big cracks and several inches of height difference towards the walkway to the side door. I personally tripped on this…good thing I am agile! Examples of issues; flooring was not installed correctly, there are gaps and loose boards in the main family from and many in the bottom floor. Carpets definitely are in need of replacement, they just look very old. Kitchen is a nice space, but under equipped with basics for cooking, and most pots and pans we would never they are rusty/or flaking off the coating. Many need to be replaced. Also, the cane it’s installation and stove hood installation look bad and we’re not professionally installed…crooked, and gaps…. Most of the fixtures in the home are mis-matched, and many are in need of replacement… again if you want to charge luxury prices of $600+/night. internet was very good, but the TVs just need to all use the same system> the previous renters had the remotes mixed up and I waisted time debugging with one of the owners. We had 8 people, and there really were not enough towels. We ran out of towels requiring more laundry cycles than desired. we have rented many properties> the property needs tons

Location, Space, Comfort!!

This spacious 5 bedroom home was perfect for our family! 8 adults, 3 kids and loads of good food and fun. We spent the majority of our time on the brand new “Lilly Pad” floating and swimming in the lake. It’s a bit murky, but the water is warm with a nice dock. The clean outdoor shower made it simple to shower off after a dip! Location is very near grocery, Walmart and Meijer…and the kids rented water bikes at the nearby marina. The lakeside fire pit was so relaxing and we made hot dogs and S’mores in the evenings. Owners were in contact with us over some minor home repair issues and we appreciated the communication! Thanks again!!
