Great location - Poor property
The only reason I gave this property 2 stars is simply due to the location. Everything is only a few minutes walk from the flat. After that there is much to be desired and quite frankly I would recommend staying elsewhere as there are numerous flats throughout Fowey. Long story short, the property suffers from what appears to be years of deferred maintenance and all the spaces are VERY worn and several windows, blinds, lights, etc, do not work. The photos on the website show a very nice property which were apparently taken quite awhile ago when the owners spruced up the properties for rentals - The spaces are VERY WORN down, particularly the lounge and back yard. Also, the main bedroom on the 3rd floor has a skylight window that is lovely, however, the window across fro the skylight which would be nice for air cross flow has a sign saying "window cannot be opened". As a result the third floor bedroom gets VERY hot as the heat rises. Several blinds are missing their "wands, and do not function and are in bad repair. The property was covered in cobwebs when we arrived, but otherwise clean. No cable TV since the outside box was corroded due to inattention - The owner had two electricians come out but they were unable to fix the problem and needed to order parts - Would not arrive during our stay.
