The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner of this reverse-level hideaway occupies the top two floors of a large house, designed to maximise the incredible views across the neighbouring quayside and estuary, boasting a comfy sofa and rustic dining table perfectly positioned to best enjoy the glorious views. After losing yourself in the panoramic view, rustle up a delicious locally sourced meal in the kitchen beneath the high vaulted ceiling and make special family memories feeding the crowd. Head downstairs to the lower ground floor to tuck children into the fourth bedroom featuring two sets of bunk beds before retiring to any of the three beautifully presented bedrooms for a peaceful rest guaranteed. Soak up some fresh air by dining alfresco on the balcony terrace or venture down to the river with shared step access.
Clinging to the hillside, the village of Polruan boasts a maze of narrow streets to explore that maintains its timeless fishing village character and charm that you simply won’t be able to help but fall in love with. Enjoy a 5 minute ferry ride across the river to Fowey to enjoy its selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as delightful views of boats bobbling along the estuary. Keen walkers can join up with the South West Coast path from the top of the village to be rewarded with spectacular cliff-top coastal views, following the trail to nearby beaches like Lantic Bay, or Lansallos bay, both great for sunbathing and swimming among some breathtaking views.

- Children must be supervised by the water's edge and the quay is used entirely at the guest's own risk
- Please note, the lawn is not available for guest use (just for accessing the quay)
- There are 15 steep, narrow steps with a handrail leading down to the front entrance door, and there is a further set of steep steps leading down to the lawn level to access the waterfront
