"We very much enjoyed our stay . The place was very clean and comfortable. Location worked very well with any thing we needed being in walking distance even the train station. The goodies left by the host were very enjoyable. The only issue we came across was having to remind my husband who is 6'3" to duck when entering some of the rooms. Of course you have to expect that in an old building. "

"On arrival it was a bit dark. No lightning to cabins. I think maybe solar lightning or something!! Stepped into cabin it was nice and warm as picked the coldest night of the year so dar to turn up. Host left lights on so we could see inside. Bathroom was great, double bed comfortable nice thick duvet as it was cold. Kitchenette was just the right size for the cabin. "We had a nice one night stay at this cosy cabin which is in a picturesque part of Winchester near the streams. It's a fun adventure for a young family but probably not ideal for people with mobility issues as the two bedroom spaces require climbing/crawling through a small door. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the cabin but the kitchen is outdoors, which is a bit of a challenge on a wet/cold day. Would definitely stay again."

"Arrive to meet host, showed around, clean tidy, perfect communication throughtout the stay. We did have a small issue through the stay and this was dealt with efficiently and promptly. We are looking to stay again in April we were that impressed. Tea and coffee were also provided and soap in the bathroom, this was an added bonus and very welcome. "

"Hotel staff and rooms were fine but unfortunately the food in the restaurant was not! We were there to celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday and bitterly disappointed. My food was cold because I had to wait so long for my side order so ended up sending it back. Others food was Luke warm. I did complain the next day and the operations manager very kindly refunded the bottle of champagne to us. Breakfast was ok and a good variety. Hence we didn’t eat there on our second night. "
