Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Zeit im Palazzo Pasquini. Es ist wirklich ein Palazzo mit der schönsten Aussicht überhaupt. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich freundlich, haben uns einen Abend Pizza geholt und einen von uns für die Abreise zum Bahnhof gefahren. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Family Fun

We had an AMAZING time! The property is exquisite, sitting at the top of the mountain ! The owners were fabulous, and we loved Lily the dog! The views were spectacular, sunset to die for! Wonderful family experience!

Beautiful Villa Stay in the Heart of Tuscany

We spent an amazing week at Palazzo Pasquini with 9 people and 2 dogs, and it couldn’t have been better. The villa is spacious, beautifully restored, and full of Tuscan charm – perfect for a larger group. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the common areas ideal for relaxing together.The outdoor space is a dream: stunning views, a peaceful garden, and a fantastic pool. Our dogs were welcome and happy, and we loved the calm, nature-filled surroundings.Great location for exploring Tuscany, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. We’d absolutely come back!

A wonderful House and the nicest host ❤️

Many thanks for the most wonderful and very warm 14 days in Treppignana in beautiful Palazzo Pasquini. We have enjoyed a lovely holiday with excursions to Barga, Lucca, Florence, Pisa and Monterosso. We have daily used the nice pool and beautiful garden. And what a view - it is so beautiful ❤️ We thank the perfect host for all the help and assistance. We will miss it all and the fantastic view over the valley and the mountains.

Stunning House

The description didn’t do the house justice! This beautiful house is perfect for large groups providing both social areas and privacy. The kitchen was well stocked, the outdoor grill and pizza oven were readily accessible with lots of available wood. Beautiful view from the outdoor area where we enjoyed dinner watching the sunset.Eleanora was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions.We did find the drive up the mountain to be a bit challenging with the size of vehicle we had (large van for seven adults), but would highly recommend, especially if you’re not planning many day trips.

We left a big piece of our collective hearts in Treppignana! The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and be sure to rent a narrow, sturdy vehicle. Overall a 10/10 unforgettable experience.

Beautiful property and excellent hosts

The house in Treppignana was perfect for our family of 10, much space, well equipped, comfy and fun for everyone. The views are amazing from the house and the village is just so charming and beautiful. We did a lot of day trips here and there (Pisa, Luca, Florence, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and more) and could have explored so much more if we´d have had the time. Dario and family were lovely and easy to communicate with. They made sure we had everything we needed and are good people. We´ll definitely be staying there again when we return to Toscana. Tack för underbara dagar i Treppignana

Palazzo Pasaquini är ett riktigt palats, välhållet med flera sovrum, toaletter, ett underbart kök, terass och en liten pool, med vidunderlig utsikt över de apuliska bergen. Vi blev mycket väl mottagna av ägarna som också lagade en fin middag till oss med lokala råvaror. Vi hade underbara dagar i Palazzo Pasquini och kombinationen av ett rymligt palats med biljard- och pingisbord, fantastiska vandringsleder runt knuten där vi vandrade ensamma i den fantastiska naturen och ett kök där vi som gillar matlagning kunde gå loss med lokala råvaror var toppen! Tänk på att det är en serpentinväg upp till byn och att det krävs bil för att t.ex. åka och handla.

Il Palazzo Pasquini

We had a fantastic time with our extended family of 8 grown ups, age 30 to 72, and 3 children, age 1 to nearly 3 and4. The house is great and fitted our needs perfectly. The kitchen is fantastic and we really enjoyed cooking in it. The outdoor area with the pool is a gem and the view from the terrace overlooking the mountain hills is spectacular! A car is a must for shopping, eating out, sightseeing etc. And yes the road up to the house is quite something but clearly manageable. The road is also great for exercise going down hill walking or running and then turning back uphill. Dario and Eleanora were great to interact with; again many thanks for helping out with the retrieval of our lost luggage.

Perfect Tuscan Get-away

We came here as a family to unplug and relax and this home was perfect for that! Coming from America it was a bit of a shock (especially for my kids) to walk into a home that was built in the 1500’s and feel comfortable, although you could tell it was well maintained and clean but it took them one night to feel at home. The ping pong table was an amazing addition especially since the first floor has very little living area (besides the kitchen), the back terrace was our favorite hang out because the views are worth the 10 minute windy drive up the mountain. We lived outside most of the time. We did take a few day trips (Florence, Lucca, Pisa), but since we loved the surrounding non touristy area so much (esp Barga) we did most of our exploring and eating there. We loved our time, it was the perfect beginning to our time in Italy!

Beautiful house with magnificient views

We were two families (4 adults, 4 children; ages from 13 to 16) from Finland spending our holidays in this beautiful old house with plenty of room and magnificient views! The few last kilometers to Treppignana village the road was quite narrow in some places, but we managed well even with our 9-seat minivan. We explored Garfagnana area as well as Lucca and Florence. In the afternoons kids enjoyed the very nice pool and in the evenings we admired beautiful sunsets and played some billiard or table tennis. The owner Dario and his daughter Eleonora were very helpful and gave advise when needed. Special tanks to Lorenzo and Dario for the tasty traditional Italian pizzas that they prepared us in the stone owen on the last evening of our holiday. We had a lot of memories that we will not forget! We will absolute come back some day.

A jewel on the hill

Palazzo Pasquini was probably the most extraordinary vacation home we have ever had. It is historic, huge and in a remote location. We have a group of 7 people (4 adults and 3 children) and would have managed to barely see each other for a week given the size of the house. The facilities are perfectly adequate, although a little dated in places. The walk up to the Palazzo is a bit arduous and you should be aware that you are unlikely to be prepared to make this walk several times a day. The location is also not absolutely perfect for excursions. In the end, we limited ourselves to Pisa, Lucca (highly recommended) and the Mediterranean coast on the other side of the mountains. Each was a full-day excursion. Overall, Palazzo Pasquini is therefore highly recommended if you are looking for peace and seclusion. The view from the terrace is simply indescribable and we will remember it for a very long time. Just like Lilly, Dario's incredibly affectionate dog.

Schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Es hat uns absolut an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und helfen in allen Belangen. Als wir Schwierigkeiten mit dem Anfeuern des Pizzaofen hatten, genügte ein Anruf und Eleonores Papa war sofort zur Stelle. Ein wenig Pech hatten wir mit dem Wetter, aber das war in diesem Zeitraum ungewöhnlich. Wir haben unseren Urlaub trotzdem sehr genossen und statt Pool mehr Ausflüge unternommen. Wir können die Unterkunft empfehlen und würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen.

Zapraszam do Palazzo Pasquini

W pałacu spędziliśmy dwa tygodnie września (11 osób). Jesteśmy zachwyceni miejscówką, widokami, basenem, wnętrzami, olbrzymią kuchnią, tarasem, salą bilardową, stołem do tenisa itp. Nie będę się rozpisywać, zainteresowani pobytem-nie zastanawiajcie się. Naprawdę jest pięknie. A jeżeli dopisze pogoda, jak nam, to naprawdę nie trzeba więcej. Pozdrawiam. Iza

great holidays in Tuscany

the family enjoyed the castle, the kitchen, the barBQ. A bit cold for the pool. We loved the pizza nights and the four course meals provide by the owners. the only challenge was the winding road to get up to the castle, but after a few days it was fine.

Magical views and sunsets

Beautiful old house with thick stone walls, shutters and high ceilings which kept the interior cool and comfortable in very hot weather (38C). Lovely pool. Amazing views. Friendly, charming, helpful hosts.

Upea maisema joka ei jätä ketään kylmäksi

Talo sijaitsee erittäin korkealla vuoristossa, pienen kylän keskellä. Tie perille on mutkainen ja toisinaan tie on erittäin kapea. Maisema talon terassilta on henkeäsalpaava, ja aurinko paistaa lähes koko päivän terassille tai alapihalle, missä uima-allas sijaitsee. Talon keittiö on upea, ja mahtavan kokoinen. Siellä ruoan valmistus on helppoa ja keittiössä pystyy ruokaa valmistamaan useampi henkilö kerrallaan. Tämä kohde sopii niille, jotka rakastavat omaa rauhaa, ja toivovat lomalta aitoa Toscanaa. Suosittelut!

Ett fantastiskt hus

Ett fantastiskt hus som är väldigt stort. Bilderna gör inte huset rättvisa. Det finns en fin uteplats med grill och pizzaugn. Köket är alldeles fantastiskt med en stor öppen spis. Vi var där i april så det var inte alla kvällar vi kunde sitta ute, men köket gjorde att det ändå blev väldigt trevliga kvällar. Huset är gammalt och charmigt med mycket vinklar och vrår. Man måste tänka på att klara trappor bra för det är mycket trappor. Det är bra sängar och allt är väldigt välstädat. Man måste ha bil för det är köravstånd till både affär och restaurang. För vår del var detta inget problem då vi prioriterade bergen och naturen. Middagarna tillagade vi i pizzaugnen eller på grillen. Det finns fina vandringar direkt utanför dörren. Ägaren är väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Han pratar inte engelska men det är inga problem för man kan ha sms kontakt med dottern som pratar bra engelska. Vi rekommenderar verkligen detta boende.
