2/10 Terrible

The house was unfit and unsafe to stay at. Half of the power to the house went out at least once a day, affecting all appliances, the hot tub, and heat. I notified the host on the 1st day, and was told to reset the breaker in the garage - without hesitation like it was a known issue. Even tho as a guest, this should not be asked of me, i did it in order to get the heat back on. After a couple days of resetting breakers, it finally did not fix the problem and i was stuck in a cold house with no appliances or useable hot tub (my wife medically needs this and the host was aware). While I was troubleshooting their electrical issue at the host request, i saw the power wires to the cook top and the furnace were exposed and pulled tight over the sharp edge of the sheet metal electrical boxes. This is a huge shock and fire safety hazard, as well as a major building code violation. The cooktop was especially disturbing because it was in the back of the base cabinet where the metal pots are stored. Meaning someone could push a pot back and get shocked or electrocuted. We had no choice but to leave, and had to get a hotel room for the 2nd half of our stay. The host's responce was that they will not issue a refund bc they sent their maintenance guy and i stayed in the house for half the time - while working on their problem to make it possible to stay there. GOLDNEST IS A CORPORATE HOST. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT , AND WILL NOT HANDLE ISSUES IN A FAIR MANNER.STAY AWAY!
