Ft Worth Graduation Trip

The property location was great. There was a park nearby for our dog. Shopping was within walking distance. The area was quiet. It was close to our son’s apt. Overall, great place!

This place turned out to be a gem. Easy walk to a Super Target, lots of restaurants near by, and close to museums and botanic garden were we planning to visit. Host did an excellent job of communicating. A perfect place for our visit in a quiet and new area.

Didn't have the best stay

We left our phones in the apartment when we first arrived so they could charge up while we went to the Target across the street to get some water, ice, etc. When we got back, the batteries to the electronic locks were no longer working. About an hour of panic later, the batteries must have had one last gasp of life and worked and let us in. Not a great start to the stay. There should have been a lockbox backup. We have electronic locks on our door and have a backup for this exact reason. You can't rely on VRBO guests to let you know the batteries are dying. As far as the unit goes, we thought it was clean until the next day when we showered and walked around barefoot for a few minutes and noticed our feet were very dirty. The unit is comfy but the mattress is definitely on the firm side. There is a sliding barn door that goes from the bedroom into the bathroom. This does not afford much privacy in the bathroom. This was probably our biggest complaint. Due to the lock issue (we could not contact the owner due to both phones being in the unit with a lock that wouldn't work), we were not able to spend much time in the property. The location is great. If you don't like firm mattresses, this probably isn't the unit for you. Whoever is cleaning for them, is not mopping. Wish we had a better stay but sometimes things just don't work in your favor.

Absolutely perfect place for our trip to Ft. Worth

The property is a safe neighborhood and the parking garage made us feel even safer. The bed was comfortable, and the couch was so-so, but as good as you can expect from a fold out couch. The unit was equipped with everything you could need. We’re pretty reasonable about what we expect concerning supplies, coffee, toilet paper, etc. There was enough for a day or two, but we stayed 5 nights. There’s a Super Target basically across the street so we bought some resupplies and left some for the next person. We loved the place, and would stay here again for sure.

DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY

First of all the host sucks at communication. 2nd this condo is not Handicap accessible. Just because there is a ramp going into the property doesn't mean it is complaint.The hallways are very narrow The small bathroom provides zero room for somebody in a Walker to turn around also this bathroom. doesn't have handlebars which is a fall risk in itself. My caregiver needed to hold my hands while I went to the bathroom so I didn't fall. The shower chair provided for the bathtub didn't fit so there was a gap. I almost fell through the gap. Not to mention this apartment was extremely dirty. I told the host that there was an alarm going off in the main entrance and it was never turned off.

Disappointed

Unfortunately, we were disappointed in our stay. The property was fine but we did not get the unit we booked. I specifically booked a place with a pull out sofa bed for our friend and were told a few hours before we arrived that we would not be staying in the unit we booked. The light and fan did not work in the bedroom and would only work by remote. We were told the remote was taken by a previous guest. Fortunately, there was a small end table light that we were able to use for a bit of lighting, but not much. One curtain was on one window but the other was shoved in a closet with other bedding just thrown in. Not a very good look for a rental. The overwhelming smell of bleach when we walked in was also a bit of an issue as we had to open the door to air it out. I had to reach out for check in instructions and was asked what time we would be arriving, even though check in time clearly stated 3pm. Not sure the unit would have been ready if we planned to get there at time of check in. The cleaning job was fair but seeing used tissues under the bed and q-tips in the drawer was pretty unpleasant. Overall, it was a decent but disappointing stay.

Property was in a good location. The surrounding area is very walkable and has a store and several dining options. There are also wine bars and breweries in the area. The owners were very slow to communicate prior to arrival. They also showed up to the condo unannounced which was very alarming.

Good Property

In short, we would return. The property is cute, felt safe, and close to downtown Fort Worth. The only "warning" I have is the bathroom door to the bedroom is a sliding barn door so it doesn't provide much privacy as it often slides leaving some openings which allows anyone in the room to hear you as well as anyone walking by the door to see in through the gap.

We booked this apartment for a trip to Cooks Children's Hospital. As we were getting prepared for our 6 hour trip we realized the reservation was canceled by the host late the night before. We had to book a hotel due to it being the day of, there weren't any other apartment options on VRBO.

Nothing short of AMZING!!

I honestly can’t put into words how amazing this condo was. My husband and son thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. It’s in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect with a super target, bars, pubs, wine spots, and food places. We ate breakfast at Snooze eatery. We had a drive up order from target to stick the fridge with food items while there. Although she had everything from ramen noodles, coffee, creamer, sugar, stocked fridge of water, ice made up already from the ice maker, plastic cups, plates, dishes, I mean I literally could go on and on! The snacks were a plus for my 4yo son. He was really excited to be a new space for a few days. Hopefully he wasn’t too loud with going back and forth on the hardwood floors. He’s not used to them bc we have carpet! We loved how she had the bathroom stocked with extra toiletries in case we forgot anything! Tosha did an amazing job hosting my family! Sis understood the assignment!!! You go girl and I wish you a continued success on your future hostings!!!

This was a great townhouse, clean, centrally located, just as shown / advertised. We had one minor issue and had immediate response and fix from owner. Definitely will return and rent this unit.
