  • Renovated in 2022, this is a 2 bedroom river cottage just a short walk from the Santa Fe River. Conveniently located near several Florida springs, great dining, & unique shopping. Check out our guest book for more info. **We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance that will cover a variety of issues that may arise prior or during your trip. Examples are medical events that prevent or shorten your stay, vehicle problems or accidents, and natural disasters (i.e. tropical storms and hurricanes) that require mandatory or suggested evacuation. Florida in the summer is always subject to strong storms which often cause lengthy power outages that can affect the property and could electively cause guests to shorten their stay. Trip insurance would potentially cover the remaining days depending on the policy purchased.

We were able to get away for a few days! We enjoyed the nearby springs and the ability to come back to have home cooked meals in a beautiful cottage! Everything was wonderful and the owners were very accommodating and communicative!

Very quiet. Lots of deer in the area. Very laid back community. Santa Fe river was low which made it crystal clear and beatiful.

We were there on a Diving trip. Didn’t spend much time at the house. So most of this is not applicable, but the facilities were clean and perfect for our needs

Very Nice

Had a very nice stay at this house. Everything you need is there and it is so quiet and cozy. House was clean and everything functioned properly. The hosts are kind and kept contact with everything.

Awesome weekend getaway!

We stayed here 2 nights so we could kayak the river. The property is clean and well-equipped. We plan on coming back soon, this is perfect for a weekend trip!

Beautiful and peaceful!

The owners were amazing and helpful! It was fully stocked with everything we needed! It was close to all of the local springs and destinations. We will be staying here again the next time we come to Ginnie Springs!

Home away from home

We had a nice relaxing weekend in our home away from home! We visited the nearby springs and it was just a hop to get home! The hosts were communicative and welcoming! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Family Trip

Short 2 day stay to visit the springs with grandchildren. Beautiful spot, the kids loved walking to the river. Even met some locals who were friendly and answered all the kids questions.😊

Lovely secluded spot

Nice little touches make this place feel very homely. The surrounding area with multiple springs nearby is absolutely beautiful. We will return again :-)

Peaceful and comfortable

My family had a short but great visit to Ichetucknee Springs. We loved this river house and would definitely stay here again. Shawn and Jade obviously take pride in making this property comfortable and accessible. We hope to come back soon!

vacation to see family

Nice older 2 story cabin that has been totally remodeled and updated. It is a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath place so great for a couple or small family. We enjoyed the location, close to the santa fe river and fort white.

surprisingly nice!

House is furnished and very well appointed and comfortable. The cottage is secluded but does not give an unsafe feel. Would rent again.

Huck’s Hideaway

Shawn and Jade were fantastic hosts with great, quick communication for any questions we had. Clean house and private yard with lots of wildlife to enjoy. Loved the back screened in porch.

Cozy weekend retreat

As listed.. beds were super comfy, a/c was nice and cold. Strong wi-fi. Secluded for sure, but a quick drive to High Springs for a cold beer and some dinner. Close to Rum Island 138 where we rented kayaks.

It's unique!!!!

I had a great stay spending the new year's with love ones at this beautiful cottage. We walked each morning to the Santa fe river to go kayaking we also checked out ichetucknee spring and did some kayaking there as well. Everything that you will need to feel comfortable was available in this unique home. We will definitely come back again to visit thanks for having us!

Wonderful!

Very nice cottage! It was just what we needed! Very quiet, clean, full of nature, relaxing and comfortable. It’s very close to springs and parks. We watched the deer every morning and evening less than 60 feet away from the screen porch! Just amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Comfortable and Cozy

We stayed for three nights and had a really nice time. It felt like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy. I really loved how they had a lot of cookware lol because I cooked a lot for my kids birthday. I enjoyed the seclusion of the home without feeling totally isolated in the area. My kids and I had a wonderful time visiting the nearby springs. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
