Resort is fantastic but cleanliness of the unit missed the mark

The positives: The resort itself was fantastic. The beach is beautiful and not a far walk from the unit. The unit is located close to the parking garage and elevator, which was nice. The pools and water features were great for the whole family. There is a little quick service restaurant on the property which was handy.The negatives: The check in process was frustrating. When we arrived, we did not have beach towels or the wrist bands that are required while on the property. It took several calls between the Joan and Nick to get things sorted out.The unit itself was not clean which is surprising given the long list of rules regarding cleaning the unit before you leave. Examples: food crusted on the love seat in the living room and on the comforter of the master bedroom; bodily fluid on the extra blankets in the closets; my grandson walked on the floors with bare feet and bottom of his feet turned black; food under the burners of the stove. Overall, we enjoyed the resort and would come back but we would not stay in this specific unit again.

Lovely stay

The spot had everything it advertised with comfortable beds and a fun bunk area my kids loved. Great location and the beach chairs and umbrella made our stay much easier!

Absolutely amazing stay!

From the moment we booked, I can't say enough great things about this condo or the owners. "Accommodating" does not even do justice. They were within reach by phone or text whenever we needed them. They went above and beyond prior to us getting there to make sure our stay was comfortable and felt like home. The condo was so clean and was the perfect location for what we needed. Great view of the property and ocean. The property itself... let me tell you, traveling with a 5 and 2 year old, this trip could have went one of two ways. The beach access was perfect and the pool was fantastic. Multiple zero entry pools for the littles and a spot where they could play entirely without me having to helicopter so closely. 🤣 I would recommend this property to any and everyone. And if given the opportunity will book again! 10 out of 10 for sure! Thank y'all again for an amazing stay and for a trip filled with memories! ❤️

Great vacation spot!

My family had a great time in Fort Walton Beach. This is a wonderful facility and fit the 5 of us perfectly. The unit was clean and comfortable. The beds were amazingly cozy! Joan was so easy to communicate with and addressed a couple of very small requests quickly. We would definitely look to stay in another of her properties if we head down that way again!

Family Fun

We had pictures on the beach at sunset. Rented a boat and went to Crab Island. Drove down 30-A and saw more beautiful beaches. Ate a lot of great food! Played in the pools, hot tub, lazy River. And enjoyed a day on the beautiful beach and emerald waters!! We loved the condo and highly recommend others to stay there!

Fantastic location, condo and ownership

We have stayed at many different properties throughout the Destin area and this one has been by far the best! Everything about this condo was perfect. Check-in was easy and Joan was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. This condo is great for families and quiet at nights. We highly recommend this property for all!

Great time at C601

We had a wonderful week at C601. The accommodations were perfect for our family!! The children absolutely loved the pool areas and activities while the white sand beaches were glorious. Joan was very helpful in getting us checked in and always available for questions. The chairs, umbrellas and sand toys were so appreciated and made the quick walk to the beach very easy!! We would definitely visit C601 again!!

It is an absolutely beautiful condo. Very clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be back. The view on the patio is lovely. And the convenient access to the parking deck was very nice. Communication was great. We knew exactly how to check in and check out.

Great beach resort vacation

We spent spring break at this amazing condo and resort with our 3 teenage boys. We all loved the amenities at the resort. The beach was an easy walk. The parking and elevators made our stay easy and convenient. There was a storage closet across the hallway from the condo that had a beach wagon, beach chairs, and beach/pool toys. The owner was great at communicating with us prior to and during our stay. We definitely want to go back!

Beautiful condo and great location

The condo was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 grandparents. The bunk room was great for the kids. The balcony overlooking the pool and beach was beautiful. The condo is located in a great location right on the water and close to restaurants! We enjoyed our stay for the week!

Great place with great management!

The condo was beautifully decorated with super comfortable beds! They we’re upfront about everything that was / was not provided for your stay which was super helpful while grocery shopping. The view was wonderful and the property was well-kept! Joan was always so available and quick to respond to my questions and even went out of her way to bring us an additional set of bed sheets. The kids (and adults) loved the many pools at the condo and the tiki bar was fantastic! Would definitely stay again!

Great place for a family!

The property was wonderful, easy access to the parking garage and shops/restaurants around the area, easy beach access, awesome pools for the littles. The beds were comfortable, great bunk area for older ones (theres an xbox if your kids like that, we didnt use it) full size kitchen, plenty of room for 6 people. We had a great time and would rent this place again!

Best family resort

Loved C601 the view from the balcony is a clear view of the pools and even can see the waves crashing. The kitchen has everything necessary for cooking and as a mama of 4 this was so helpful. The mattresses are memory foam and the soft sheets made sleeping a dream. If you have kids this resort is perfect with 2 kid friendly pools and the beach is walking distance. Lots of great restaurants super close even putt-put golf. Something for everyone!

Definatly a great resort for children. Condo is spacious, clean and has everything you need if you want to cook. Great views. Comfortable beds. Eady parking and access to condo on the 6th floor. Close to shopping restraunts and amenities.

Florida Vacation

This is the third condo that I have rented in Waterscape and it was by far the very best. The location is fantastic and has the most incredible view. The condo was equipped with everything you could ask for to the point where they even provided beach towels and access to their beach chairs, cart , etc. The place was very clean and comfortable. Communication with the property manager was outstanding. She responded immediately when I called and contacted me throughout my stay to make sure that things were going well. I would highly recommend this condo to friends and family.

Didn't exceed expectations

Unfortunately we didn't feel impressed with our stay. We thought the owner of this unit was great with communication, but the condo felt very dirty...the carpets/couch/curtains/bedding...it just didn't feel updated & I kept feeling like I couldn't wait to get back home. :( The property's pools were way too cold -even the heated pool. November just wasn't a great time to be there unfortunately. The spot of this condo is by the loud parking garage & also by a very loud fire station...the noise level mixed with not feeling super clean/updated left us very underwhelmed. Go to 30A instead.
