This unit features new floor to ceiling custom drapes, 3 bedrooms with all new carpet, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, full size washer/dryer, 4 TV's, WIFI internet, and sleeps 8 with a king in the master bedroom, 2 queens with new mattresses in the 2nd bedroom and a queen with new mattress in the 3rd bedroom. Excellent place to stay, only real issue I found was a drawer in refrigerator was broke when we arrived and the sink in the master bedroom likes to clog very easily. But other than that, great place to stay. We would 100% recommend this unit and would love to stay here again (as long as no kids pull the fire alarm again).

ANOTHER PERFECT STAY!!!

Our second year staying in this condo and absolutely loved it once again! Beautiful, clean, convenient ground floor unit is perfect for families taking small children. No stairs or elevator to fool with. It’s also nice that you’re not sharing the beach with a lot of guests like at some places nearby. You can easily walk to the pier or stop in at the Tiki Bar at the Holiday Inn just a few buildings down. AJ’s is right across the street & we popped in there a few times and listened to some good music. Perfect place to make memories! Going to book our next stay here soon!

Overall satisfied but could use a few tweaks

Great in and out process. Floor unit was as expected and very convenient for our family of varying ages. Pool area well maintained, only one pool was heated. Grill was awful! First attempt it didn’t work at all, after they “fixed” it it wouldn’t reach a hot temp and took forever to cook on it. A total disappointment since we planned several grilled meals. Condo was nice and accommodating to our group. The buggiest issue was the dryer! Did not work, finally was determined the vent was clogged which is a fire hazard! After my husband cleaned it out and started to work better but still took twice as long as it should to dry a load of laundry especially towels! Kitchen equipped and fully functional- could use a few random things- a whisk in particular and cookie sheets. It was as clean as one would expect. Beach access and chair service wonderful! Nice area and beautiful beach! Would be inclined to come back in the future. A few adjustments and it would have been perfect.

Loved the location of the facility and the condo itself

First we loved the first floor and being right at the pool Awesome!!! We had some minor issues The refrigerator and stove could have been cleaner. The mattresses need to be updated. The tv in one of the front rooms had issues and both sets of curtains didn’t close all the way. With that being said we didn’t report these things and I’m sure that if we had they would have done there best to fix what they could. Would we stay there again yes if they could fix the issues

Perfect for small children

We loved our stay here! The convenience of the pool and beach right outside your door is amazing. The AC wasn’t working in our unit for a day, but they promptly fixed it! Beach wasn’t crowded and location was great!

Love this Place! Hate the Pool Security guards.

I have stayed in this unit twice now. I love both SummerPlace and Waterscape. The condos are beautifully decorated and the grounds are very clean. What I do not like is the rude security guards at both pools. This unit is on the ground floor, Myself and another adult were sitting on a lounge chair right outside our unit when the guard told us to get out. I can understand no swimming but just sitting there enjoying the night is uncalled for.

We have been coming to summer place for 3 years. We like it cause of the small complex. This was our first time in this condo and we enjoyed it. We like the ground floor cause we have small children and it makes our stay a little easier.

very nice condo and location

Beautiful condo with very nice furnishings. Kitchen had everything we needed even if we wanted to do any cooking! We loved the first floor location and convenience to the pool and walkout to the beach. Although there are plenty of places to enjoy right in Fort Walton, it was a short drive to Destin for additional restaurant choices and shopping. We would rent again.
