Rooms were very clean. Check in and out were very easy. Pool was amazing. Lazy river slightly cold but relaxing.Room could have used a vacuum, but the broom worked to clean the floors each night

Pleasant with this condo . It’s our 4th time staying in Destin West but 1st time on Bayside. The condo was as described, our family of 5 ( 2 adult and 3 children 9-15yo ) . The management was very responsive, the toaster was not working on 1st morning and during 2-3h they brought us a new one . We stayed on Labor Day weekend 2025 . Will come again!

Nice Condo

Very nice condo, cute in design, furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels, kitchen stuff. Great view, great access and walking distance to a lot of things. There were elevators and plenty of carts to tote your things back n fourth. I would stay here again. The few negative things which has nothing to do with the owner control. The pool needed to be cleaned, the property doesn’t allow or create space for boats or jet ski trailers. You can’t even bring them for a minute on the property to pick up someone. There was a marina about a mile away that you can store them for 45.00 a day.

Family vacation

The entire complex is kept very clean. The pool/lazy river area always looked great. The lazy river was too cold for the grandchildren (stayed in a different unit) and us but the heated pool was lovely. Easy access to the beach which helped get steps in! Also, walked to the mini golf, ice cream, and pizza. We would stay here again! Very clear and easy check in and check out!

Fun vacation home

Always great staying at this resort.my family always enjoys it here. The condos have everything needed. We cook all our meals here and in the past seasonings and condiments were something we never had to buy, it was nice for the previous visitors and the owner to leave them behind. Good thing our stay was short so only two days worth of cooked meals and Tony Chachere’s worked just fine. We did have an issue with the floors, they were dirty. My grandson would not keep his shoes on and his feet were black, not sure if the floors get mopped. We also didn’t pack beach towels. In the past the room came with beach towels. Not any fault of the owner we just assumed they were provided as our previous 5 stays at the resort they had them. Will definitely return and will ask questions.

Great family location

The property was very clean and up to date. The view of the lazy river and pool area was beautiful. The pool area was also very clean. If we are in Destin again, we will definitely try to stay in the same location.

Nice accommodations overall.

Floors could use better cleaning.. bottoms of ours and grandkids feet were black after walking for only a short time in the living area barefoot to where we had to wash our feet in the bathtub before bedtime and wear flip flops for the rest of the stay inside the condo. Also pot holders/hot pads would have been appreciated. Other than that, zero complaints about our stay! Would definitely stay again.

Condo was great! The lazy River area was dirty!

The condo was great, the master bed is uncomfortable but not a deal breaker. The condo was clean and well stocked. However, the bay side pool area constantly had dirt and debris in it. We were up early enough to see the pool guy cleaning and not once did he clean off the pool deck area so all that would track in from peoples feet. Someone vomited in the hot tub and it was not cleaned or closed off. We enjoyed our stay but will go back to staying in Destin, it’s more centrally located and cleaner. Access to the pool and beach are much easier as well there!

July 4th vacation

This is our second time to stay at this property, different condo. We love the property, lazy River, this time we used the gym since we stayed a week. It’s located on the way to the beach (no towels, water, or restroom in the gym, so just prepare). We did an insta cart pickup at Publix, planned out meals. The condo has every thing needed. It’s hard to know sometimes what to expect! The ice machine in the freezer was great to get us by for our cooler to bring to the beach. It was nice that the condo had a beach wagon and chairs. We also had our own. I loved having the second balcony off the master, you can see a piece the gulf and have a separate area for just my husband and I! There were 7 of us, we used every bed area. There wasn’t bedding for the little twin/chair fold out. But they were able to get it to us that first night asap. There was also no plug in the bathroom, they brought two types for us. The towel rack in the restroom is loose, we reported it, my husband tried to fix it, but it’s not weight bearing. Needs some help. We brought our own umbrella/shibumi, so one day we went late night to not be affected, but to be able to set up front Row in front of the paid chairs/umbrellas, we went beyond sea spray’s, down on the left. Less crowded. Plus if there is sea weed, all but one day we were able to move beyond it. We saw dolphins close! So cool! In the gulf right on the sand bar. We ate at the crab trap one night, it was great. Highly recommend the souviner shop below vs others. Super cute And better quality in there and better prices. There lazy River area was a daily thing for us besides the beach. They had music two years ago, I asked the guy down there working/checking bands he said it’s playing but we never heard it. We bought our own speaker, and another time someone else had a speaker. The main elevator broke the night of July 4th, they had it fixed the next morning. Always saw people cleaning elevators, the grounds. Thank you for letting us stay in your place!

Always a blast coming here.

We LOVE this resort because of its pools and lazy river. This is our 2nd time staying here and it’s always been a blast. This unit is very clean. It’s equipped with up-to-date appliances. Even has a stroller and highchair for my toddler which was a pleasant surprise!

Great condo

The property and condo themselves are great. They kids enjoyed the lazy river. It’s a small walk to the beach using the pedestrian walkway. The condo perhaps needed some sturdier furniture.

Would do it all again!

The entire process from finding and booking the property on VRBO to arrival and departure were seamless and simple! The location is wonderful with close proximity to Rick's next door, the Boardwalk just across the street and the bridge to Destin nearby. The property itself offered all that you would need for a convenient stay and the decor was warm and adorable! The balcony view of the lazy river and harbor is beautiful! The only complaint I would have is the King bed. The mattress itself is fine but there is something wrong with the frame itself and it seems either in need of repair or replacement. Otherwise, everything was perfect and it was a wonderful week with lots of memories for our family!!

Location wise while it was a great view of the lazy river, the walk to the beach is far with 3 kids. The king size bed was unbearable to sleep. The owner was very responsive and came 2 days later with a brand new bed still in wrapper. We were grateful but unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue. I don’t know if the bed frame was unstable or the box springs needed to be replaced as well? Kids bunk bed was very comfy. It was the perfect little nook for them. They even had their own bathroom and shower. Oh they had a tv too!! Bring your own coffee pot if you’re a coffee drinker. Facility wise they could use more vending machines. The pool on bayside with lazy river would be 5 stars if they had a bar with frozen Momma drinks. ☺️

Was perfect for a family of 4.

This was the perfect set up for a family of 4. Our 6 year old slept in the bunk and 15 year old slept on the pull out couch. The unit was very clean and had everything you needed for a week stay. We were a short walk to the ocean beach and also had a fantastic pool and lazy River right out side out door. The bay is also right next to the complex which is just as nice as the ocean beach with out the waves. Will stay at again!
